Been watching your channel for a good few months now I get addicted to these videos I’m from Scotland I’m 21 and just been getting into golf for the last year absolutely love this channel concept been going over my local course but people are over everyday getting and selling the balls so there’s never any left do you sell any of your finds id absolutely love to buy some off you was going to play a round today but had no golf balls left big fan though keep up the work from Scotland 💙

The way I find loads of balls is in the dark with a ultraviolet UV torch which makes the balls glow whatever colour the balls are

Hey I started golf ball hunting two years ago now and found so many it is hard to hunt for balls in the winter though because I live in Minnesota. I found a emoji ball a few weeks ago also how many times do you go golf ball hunting in 2 weeks

Ya it's tough when you can't see the balls for 5 months of the year. I hunt maybe once a month or so when I get permissions and production resources lined up! Glad you enjoy the hunt as well! 😀

found your channel yesterday and have been binge watching your vids absolutely loving them! question for you how do you get permission to go golfball hunting? do you just walk into the clubhouse and ask or do you have like a speech you default onto? just wondering what the best way of going about this would be for someone looking to get into it!

Great question, as you can see, every course that we golf ball hunt on, we have also featured on the channel in a full length video. So we showcase all these beautiful locations and they are all perfectly fine letting us ball hunt while out gathering B-roll before or after the round. Plus I always offer the balls back to the courses to use as range balls or for youth groups/camps so that certainly helps with permission. Never had any issues this way, doing things 100% legit and professionally is the way to go 👍 we are also wearing safety gear and carry specific business insurance as well.

Yep it's all individual pricing per dozen based on quality grade, make, and model. I still don't actually sell them, just accurately price and inventory them for the data 😅

Awesome haul, ya we have a lot of golf ball hunting videos on the channel, they are a blast! Attomax is certainly a rare find, we did a testing video on the channel a while back so I've got a couple kicking around. Never found one though! 👍

@@muskratlinksgolf i wouldn’t say it works better then looking during the daytime but its pretty fun to go out look at midnight lol you can find some interesting ones (i find orange and yellow glow particularly bright)👍 hopefully a course will give you permission to give it a try sometime although i do understand how they could be more reluctant of a 10pm-4am golf ball hunt lol

@@masterbeta2983 You would need to contact the owner(s) of the course. It usually takes me a while to negotiate with various courses the first time as it's a business transaction for me. I offer a few thousand dollars worth of advertising and positive online presence for the course, and I also offer to give all the balls back if they want them. It's helps a lot that my business is insured as well for any liability to the course, my equipment, personal injury, etc. Certainly try starting with a course where you know the owner and are friendly with their staff, you can get a leg in much easier that way!

I love these type of videos that you make and I would like to go out to my local course but just going is pretty illegal so how do you guys get courses permission and then how do you set up a time to go out? Because this looks like a lot of fun and I would love to try it out myself.

@@itsnotuploading Yep you 100% need to get permission from the owners/managers. I explain the content that I create, and we usually do course showcases to give all these courses a positive online footprint before hunting. I also offer all of the golf balls back to them.

I need to work closely with course owners and managers before trying to schedule any filming with them. It's very important to me to maintain top professionalism with a gold reputation to take into new courses. I clearly lay out my previous work to them, what I intend to do, and identify how it will benefit their course and New Hampshire golf. Bottom line, it requires a ton of careful planning.

Their Urethane balls test extremely high from independent testing, the quality control has been exceptional in the past which is the main reason why I play them. Much better than most big brands barring Titleist who remain #1 for quality control.

What is the distinguishing factor in making a ball a "junk ball?"

Great question, the main factor I use is if the ball has enough damage that it will start to affect flight. Minor scuffs are fine but anything that is deep enough to alter the shape of the dimples in the cover will change the flight characteristics of the ball. There are other factors too like major discoloration, age of the ball, if it feels waterlogged, etc.
