On an LVS 48 volt charger it had the 3 prong plug one had black wire one has white wire they are side by side the third prong does not have a wire connected to it yet there is a wire coming off the back where you plug it that goes to a inline fuse and goes into a loom. Should that prong be connected to something in the plug

HELP! I was checking the connections on my Yamaha G19 charger EpiPen charging plug and when I took it apart and neglected to pay attention to which wire was positive and negative. One is black, the other white is white. Can you help? Or, is there a way I can check pos/neg using my voltmeter? Thanks so much!

I have a 2006 ezgo txt golf cart. My charger stopped working and I need to buy another. What are my charger options. The charger I had was a Schauer part no 0891-181 and is $299 to replace. Is there a cheaper charger that will work for my golf cart?

I have a cart with a crowsfoot plug. I have to replace the charger, can I remove a "D" shape head and put the crowsfoot on it from my old charger as long as they are both 36V?

Most likely yes. You can also find adapters if you use the proper terminology as described in this video

The plugs are designed with two purposes = to keep someone from plugging in reverse and to force owners to use the manufacturer's unique charger that really isn't that unique. Each plug manufacturer has "reinvented the wheel" so to speak. Those 8 can be reduced to about 3 based upon charging amperate requirements.
