We use one like that where u slam it in only for rhe practice greens which have half the a fourth the depth of the holes we cut on the course.

I want to know how it severs the bottom of that column. I don’t understand how that metal cylinder pulls the plug of soil out without covering the bottom of the column that it creates.

Just by turning it the dirt will break cleanly an the bottom of the hole. Leaving a flush plug to fill the old hole

Different colors show pin location from a distance. Where I work red is front 1/3 of the green, white is middle 1/3 and blue is back 1/3.

Jackass keeps settin the cutting edge of the cupcutter in the turf. I can see the marks in the turf.
