compares the sound with the Golf VR6 from the 90's. at that time it simply sounded more from the exhaust pipe. whether it is due to European DB rules or whether it is due to Volkswagen is the question

@@ot2nie Seriously, your GTE looks amazing. That chrome bar in the front, that connects the 2 DRL's, have you painted it or vinyl wrapped it? I want to cover it black on mine, but I'm not keen on making permanent modifications... Also, my car I white, don't know if it will look as slick as on yours

Dankzij jou heb ik goeie hoop dat ik GTE dik kan laten tunen💪🏿. Gelden deze opties ook voor de passat GTE? En wat ben je sws wel kwijt aan alle upgrades?

Passat is qua aandrijflijn identiek (behalve de iets grotere HV accu), dus ja moet lukken! De hele modlist van mij was ongeveer €4.5k bij elkaar, maar dat is dus met de TTE turbo erbij.. Voor de meesten is echter een chip met uitlaat voldoende en dan zit je op pak hem beet €1-1.5k!

On the Ford Mustang, a guy replaces the exhaust system under the car. After that, the car sounded More. due to decibel rules. so do the car manufacturers in constructions that make it sound smaller. which can even actually cause the car to lose some HP. maybe there is also an aftermarket exhaust system for Volkswagen as well? . compared to, for example, how a VW VR6 sounded in the 90s

You’ll never reach the same sound as a vr6 with this tiny engine. And exhausts have become better the last years, so now there won’t be such a big hp drop with a silent exhaust. Same with the GTE, people have done straight pipes with 0 hp gain lol🤣 the exhaust system is not that bad in stock form.

You can put an akra on it, but not plug n play, since they officially don't make one for the gte..

Hi, you can do this in battery charge mode. Or tune the car and you can do it in gte mode as well😉

Nah the dsg works like a charm, but the clamping force has been raised by a bar. Still drives like a stock car, unless hammering it😈

@@Flevoman Heb nu rondom Pirelli Pzero, maar die bestaan al een behoorlijke tijd, de Michelin PS4S's zijn tegenwoordig erg hot, omdat ze de vervanger zijn voor de oude PS4 cups, dat waren een soort semi-slicks, dus niet echt geschikt voor op straat. Deze PS4S's zijn de nieuwste variant en ook nog eens gemaakt voor straatgebruik. Ohja er is 1 GTE die 5,8 sec Dragy heeft bereikt en dat was een Stage 1 met PS4S's erop ;-)

@@ot2nie ik had ook voor deze band willen gaan, maar die is niet in R18 te verkrijgen. Hierom voor de pilot sport gegaan. Het verschil tussen deze twee schijnt minimaal te zijn. En aangezien ik met 'm pilot port toch nog zo nu en dan wat wheelspin heb met m'n stage 1 (op en iets vochtig wegdek is het 1 en al wheelspin) vrees ik dat jij met stage 3 zelfs met de PS4S nog vol op wheelspin zal behouden. Ik heb nog een leuk banden kanaal waar elke band tot het uiterste getest wordt en met elkaar wordt vergeleken. Zal hem even voor je opzoeken kzbin.info

Hi, i have a 2017 passat gte and wonder; How do you put it in tsi mode only? I can choose pure EW, GTE and ofc. Hybrid mode, but then it still shifts between the two. Does that mean it doesn't run electric when the TSI turns on then?

You have the newer software which has less modes. I have GTE, E-mode, hybrid auto, battery charge and battery hold. The last 2 are tsi only😉

Battery charge is available in both software versions. Just use this mode for TSI only. My Golf GTE is not very fast (maybe even slow) in that mode 😆

JMTuning downpipe met kat is rond de €850. GTI einddemper is tweedehands rond de €150. GTI diffuser is €100. Lasser moet je zelf even vinden😉

GTE doesn't really fart, but the resonator delete helps.. More rpms and especially more power (bigger mixture) helps getting farts.. My car now farts alot more after the turbo upgrade lol
