Hi everyone! Just installed it on my 2014 Golf MK7, MIB1. Everything is loading fine, but the touchpad behaves weird, like it would not be the correct setting, but I have set it as mentioned on the back of the box. The ratio is fine, but when I try to click on something, it acts like I would have clicked on another command, really annoying. Anyone else experienced something similar? Many thanks!

Do you think it's possible to remap just the gte mode? Like the hybrid and electric mode stay OEM.

not sure if you will see this as it's been some time since this was uploaded. I currently have MIB1 in my 2015 and i will someday upgrade to mib2, will this work with both? I'd hate to spend money on this then dump it later once i get a better screen/brain.

Hey there! Perhaps you had similar cases, but any ideas what can be done if the box does not start together with the car? Sometimes it does instantly, sometimes you have to poke around the AUX in the source, and sometime you have to stop and start car again to make it work. Being clueless here, so perhaps someone had similar experience and knows a fix? Thanks

I really laugh when ppl moan about start stop in the Golf. When I kicks in, sometimes it helps me cause I know that the cars ahead are about to pull off. For some reason, cause the radar is so low it picks up cars moving two cars I front and the engine kicks in. Or better yet, if you're moaning so much, look ahead and tap the throttle, and it'll turn the engine on. Stop start actually saves you fuel in the long run.

I tried hiding the carplay unit in the same space where you were hiding it but because I have a Helix subwoofer in my trunk (Golf 7 Variant) the cables running from my glovebox unit to the subwoofer are blocking me from hiding it there. I have now hidden my carplay unit behind the infotainment screen. All I had to do was unscrew the glovebox for a bit, guide the cables towards the center console behind the screen and boom, I now have working carplay and the unit is hidden neat and clean.
