Hey guys-If you want to see the FULL LESSON all of these will be available on cogornogolf.com for premium members. I think seeing the live lessons really helps bridge the gap between knowing what to do and knowing HOW to do it. Hope you all enjoy!

Totally impressed with your teaching style, how you work with the students, and your knowledge. So many times you can watch training videos and they tell you what to do but they are not good at the how to do it. I feel that you cover this extremely well. Great videos and I believe we can learn a lot from you. Great work

Gotta say Eric This live lesson just might be one of your best. Don't know why, but I completely understood AND put into practice the feeling you were conveying in this lesson. Are you just getting better and better or maybe I'm finally able to sink in. Love em!

So, I've been fighting this every now and again. At the range tonight we had 15 to 21 mph wind gusts from our back, I found I was extending early much more than normal. This video now gives me a starting point to check that I can work with. Love the live lesson, look forward to more of them.

Great video Eric. My last instructor kept advising me to bend over more at address and stick the butt out. I tend to stand up a bit in the backswing and fight early extension in the downswing. It seems to make more sense to stand a little taller at address and work on more flexion in the downswing. As you always say, I have to really feel like I'm over exaggerating to see a little change on video anyway.

at his setup you say to keep the lower back flate (tuck pelivis) but does the pelvis stay tucked during the downswing

eric try the app Hudltechnique, you can use angles draw lines while also picking slow motion to run through your swing. I noticed during this video you mentioned how you couldn’t draw a line with that app you can and it’s free.

Really clear explanation, I've been sticking my butt out a lot at address to try to keep my hips back during downswing, but what you say makes sense so I'll give this a try
@CogornoGolf5 жыл бұрын
I bet it will help if you pair it with the correct downswing feels!
@wanderingbrummie5 жыл бұрын
Eric Cogorno Golf yes, I’ll try to incorporate the downswing feels you mention. Recently I’ve been hitting a lot of heel shots and I’ve had to set up aiming at a point about 2 inches inside the ball-target line to get clean contact, otherwise I hit the heel. Hitting it solid but would prefer to be aiming at the ball!

Hi Eric, started to video myself 😁 and noticed that I’m early extending. My handicap is 6 and I’m 56, is this something that you would recommend trying to fix? I do like to practice, but seeing it on video makes me think it’s going to take some work.
@CogornoGolf5 жыл бұрын
It will definitely take some work....you don't HAVE TO fix it to play good golf (Jack Nicklaus had some EE) but it can help if you have contact/direction issues...

Thank you. Regarding the position of the buttocks .... Giving your coaching, how come so many pro players do you have their butt sticking out a little bit at address? I always thought that was a good thing because it meant we were flexing from the hips and not from the low back or the upper back which left the chest up in the shoulders in a free or position to move.
@CogornoGolf5 жыл бұрын
Hey David-Thanks for the message! I do not think most players have their butt sticking out. I see lower back flat, upper back rounded.
