In this video Pete (eBay) Has had a golf lesson with PGA Professional and Golf Mates Pro Dave MacKinnon.
Pete's handicap is 15 and he classes himself as an average golfer, with average golfing issues. He has been struggling with his swing for a while and we caught up with Pete after his lesson and played 3 holes around our home golf course Chorlton Cum Hardy Golf Club.

5:05 Too easy to forget to face towards the hole when you're focusing on the swing changes. It was a good shot and went exactly where Pete aimed it! Always enjoy the videos Liam, thank you so much for uploading regularly. Better than Netflix!

Ebay Pete's 3nd shot on first hole went just where his feet were pointing. Aligned straight on target it would have been a good shot.

Your comment about the La Cala greens being hard is spot on. I remember quite a few years ago playing the Asia first hole and being in fits of laughter as both me and my pal were hitting up to the hole and watching it roll back down to our feet. We picked up the balls and placed them by the hole and they rolled back down even then. Went back in 2018 and they had altered that green so it was puttable but they are still proper difficult. Thanks for the videos.

i think the same - it could be camera distortion, to some degree, but both Pete and Liam ought to set up to a shot, stop, and lay a club along their heels, then walk back 5 yards and see where their aim truly is. Liam especially. His better shots are all forced to be over the top, due to his setup, sometimes it appears he's 30-40 degrees to the right.

Good for you EBay taking some lessons. Take your new swing on the Middle East trip and come home with all the fivers. On that 2nd shot on the 2nd hole, Mr B as Liam said "would have taken credit for it." Ebay willingly admitted it was thinned and lucky. Liam, as you found out there is much more to a putting lesson than technique. Glad you got your putter properly aligned.

Hideki seems to do OK with a pause at the top. Lots of top LPGA pros as well. Pete's new swing looks much improved - maybe just a bit long and across the line at the top but his alignment at 5:05 was the main problem (aiming exactly where he hit it).
