i have a golf r estate 7.5 on a 67 plate only done 56k miles with one previous owner and well kept fvwmdsh and not a scratch on , perfect car . cost me 26 two years back but never get rid off it , it is too good .

just picked up a near fully loaded 18 plate, MK7.5, 40k miles with full dealership history for £20k. Thought that was a decent deal.

They have dropped a but but the mk7.5s you really want (Lowish mileage, good condition, low owners, and some spec like leather and pretorias are still over 20k which is mot bad for a 2017-2019 car And mk8s same again there are no spec mk8s for 25 but the one you actually want is still 30+ performance pack, leather pan roof if all the options still high 30s because so few and far between). Also these cars had to come down they were over egging it at 50+

You’re way off the mark with the new cost of a Mk8. 22 reg you state would have been £55k. It’s got no spec and would have been £42k new. So it’s lost £12k not £25k.

Still holding well for the FK8 15k a good buy anything 25-30 will drop quite a bit. FL5 is a great update but still to drop as due an update relatively soon and next car will still be ICE
