Saw him play in his prime, and then afterward. His 1964 Open win proved that anything in life is possible, no matter how low you fall. Wonderful story!

What a legend of a man and golfer such a kind remarkable man Also what a sad situation for him to have to retire through injury. .... What a great thing he had 2 of the legends of golf as his mentors Teachers etc Byron Nelson & my all time hero Mr Hogan can't get any better than this hey. ... I always thought he was Kenny the know it all ass. Was I wrong...Seriously wrong. Truly one of the greatest gentleman champions golf has ever known. Rest in Peace Mr. Venturi, Rest in Peace.

Well stated there buddy really was I only started watching his videos at the start as I'm a massive Mr Hogan fan but Im definitely a fan of his now, like yourself as a golfer and a person ....what a legend of a man throughout. ...and doesn't get any better than having 2 mentors & teachers like Byron Nelson & Mr Hogan hey what a honour to have this at your disposal

As a 19 year old motorcycle courier for AP Newsphotos, I had the priviledge of covering this spectacular achievement in 100+degree temperatures. I took the photo negatives back to AP to wire this amazing story around the world. A truly unforgettable experience.

Kens 1964 US Open Championship, was certainly one of the greatest performances in a Major..Ever!! Of course, his career at CBS wasn’t bad either! One of the greats!

Can you show that one instruction clip on chipping where on his first try he chips in a very difficult shot. He can't believe it went in, yet he does it so nonchalantly
