I'm a golf "teacher" or "coach" (at best) to my children, family, and friends. I am certainly no "pro". But by watching Clay Ballard's videos I have not only become a much better striker myself, but I finally feel like I'm teaching my "students" properly. I never realized how all the little details in each part of the swing, when polished, can have such a tremendous effect on the enjoyment of the game. Using these tips I helped a woman who gave up on her woods/drivers fifteen years ago. She called herself Margaret Thatcher, the "Iron Lady" because she couldn't hit a driver to save her life. Dear Clay, No trainer over the years has been so successful with my swing. After watching this video twice and doing the drills, my success rate in swinging with a 8 and 9 iron went up from 1% to 60%. After more practice in the next two weeks, it jumped from 60% to 100% after doing the recommended drills almost every morning and regular practice. God bless you, because for me you are heaven sent. Thank you so much for breaking the swing down into these smaller pieces. What a great movement analysis you've done and have described very well! I've been out of the game for 20 years and I'm not as limber as I was 20 years ago, so this set of exercises is just what I needed to get back any semblance of an efficient swing. I'll be running through the exercises every day. And a subset of these exercises could be very, very good for pre-game stretching exercises. Keep up the good work!

Such an amazing drill and setup. I’ve been playing for about 6-8 months after around 25 years of not even swinging a club. I felt I had a decent grasp on my swing, then watched this and put in the time to do all the reps. Went to the range and put in the reps before even hitting. DEAD STRAIGHT AND 30 YARDS FURTHER!! This will be apart of my warm up every time and will put in the reps every day, even days I don’t play or go to the range!! Thanks for this drill!! Truly game changing for me!!!

I haven't played golf in 10 years (in hs, and I was bad) but this weekend I had a dream I was playing and wanted to hit at a range. I watched this video, then wanted to try a few shots in my yard. After doing everything he said, I launched some balls over the lake, and decided to go to a range. At the range I ran into a friend, shot better than ever and gave him some tips, then we wound up playing 14 holes together all in this same day. I have never swung a club this good in my life. I had such a great time out there, thank you for giving me a true love for the game of golf!!

This is very helpful, I can already see after 4 minutes and 50 seconds where I am going wrong in my swing. I lost my patience the other day and my golf club went for a test flight. I used to Golf like crazy. Then just stopped in the mid 2000s. Finally back. First hole out the other day I was chipping for eagle. I was shocked. The next day at the range, couldn’t hit the ball to save my life. This will get me back into hitting in the mid 80s. I needed this! :-)

One of the most simplest but effective golf drills provided. I have been struggling for months going through swing changes with a coach trying to start my downswing without coming over the top. Drill after drill I was doing, but nothing would stick. This cured it almost immediately. I have been doing this drill for about 3 months. It has added a missing piece to my swing and everything just clicked. I am down to a single digit handicap and am able to work on fine tuning things. I am so grateful I found this video. I have it saved and do these drills every practice session. Thank you!!!

For the past two weeks, I have been practicing this drill and trying to strengthen my back. My old swing was causing pain in my backswing and I came over the top of which creates a wicked slice. The first day at the range after practicing my basics I had no back pain, straight shot, and more distance. saved under golf training. No other coach has helped as much as this video.
