I noticed your transaxle has a welded on plate to keep it from spinning in the u-bolts. Mine doesn't. I am about to install one of your kits to my 2016 rxv. Did you guys make that modification to the axle? I Recently had my axle spin in the bolts and break several electical connections. So dont want that to happen again

After completing the install of this kit on my RXV, I found the tie rods were too short to adjust the toe in on the front tires after setting the camber. The tires are significantly toe'd out with tie rod length max'd out. Thoughts on how to resolve? Thanks.

We may be currently talking to your dealer about the cart but I would recommend trying different camber positions and seeing where your toe falls. The center position is generally a good one to start with. We have not seen issues where the tie rods appear to be too short with the stock steering rack and this lift kit - unless the steering rack isn't centered before the tie rods are connected but then the issue would normally be seen on one side, not both. Make sure your tie rods ends are adjusted as far out as they can go and then adjust inwards. Sometimes they aren't adjusted out enough.

@@GolfCartInstructions Thanks for the reply. I started with the center position and was able to set the toe in as recommended. The center position resulted in a negative camber setting with the tires contacting the road on the inner third of the tread pattern. This made the cart almost to twitchy to drive on the roads around my house. Now that I've achieved a positive camber with the outer hole, I'm running up again the toe in/ steering rack length issue. Is there a dimension for one spindle arm/tie rod end to the other tie rod end? I'm wondering if the distance on my cart is somehow too long. Thanks

We measured our STR-033 steering rack and it is 22.5" end to end without the tie rods. If we put the tie rods on with three rotations, they measure 28" center to center of the studs. Our steering rack should match OE. It seems like your dealer is talking to us through our tech department about this same issue. I will let you discuss it with them so we are not all duplicating efforts from this point on.

Did you ever find a resolution for this? I've got the same issue. Using the middle hole for my shock top, my tires have negative camber. If I adjust the camber, my tie rods are too short.

Any resolution? Just installed this lift on an 2012 RXV a month and I too am experiencing the short tie Rod ends.

What size are the tires?

So you have a 6 inch a arm lift kit for a 2000 electric ezgo? If so what part number? Thanks

No, the 7" is the only A-arm style lift we have for the TXT. We have a 5" drop axle (LIFT-108) and a 6" drop spindle (LIFT-102) that will fit your cart.

You must do a lot of these the way you flow through it. You are good to the point that I think you are testing your viewers if we are paying attention that you greased the right spindle before you put hub on but not the left. I am not knocking you , I thank you for helping others. between editing you slide it back off and put grease. So were you testing us to see if we are watching full video ?

My guess is the one side was more difficult to get on than the other . . . it has been a while since this video was made.

It's kind of annoying you guys never showcase the finished product once you are finished on almost all your videos.

Thank you for your feedback. We will be doing this more often in future videos if space in the Garage allows.
