Dang tiger being vulnerable on camera like that wow. Much respect. So much humility. He doesn't feel like an inspiration to others bc he feels like just a regular guy who's made a bunch of mistakes that just so happens to be the greatest golfer ever. This man is a good human
@rampmonkeyyyj3 жыл бұрын
The moment where Jada is saying it's amazing how much he's overcome, etc. While that may be entirely true, Tiger is a different beast, which is on the one hand why he's been able to overcome so much (and will in the future), and on the other hand why he could never look at it that way. The best athletes all have that mindset, which - again, is why they are the best, and why they can't relate to normal folks in that regard. I do think he is much more humble and appreciative through his trials and tribulations, but he's also just always focused on achieving goals, and doing each step toward achieving them well, rather than "hey I'm awesome".... it's kind of implied.
@bilinguru3 жыл бұрын
I wish I couldn't look at it so cynically, but it looks a but contrived to me. I've watched all three episodes and there's some good stuff there, but a lot of platitudes as well. I get the feeling with women he plays the humble, wounded puppy dog shtick. I really hope I'm wrong but I've heard when he plays with his buddies or other pros he's quite a foul-mouthed dude.

Yeah, let's pick apart apart his shortcomings. He is human. He's not Jesus, just Tiger. Like you have no shortcomings huh? We don't approach him or any other famous person like star-struck fans either. We just casually walk by and we will speak, he and my husband will exchange fist bumps and we will keep it moving....the last couple times he must've remembered my husband bc he approached first and spoke which was cool. Man Tiger was raw here. It's amazing to see how uncomfortable he still is about being put on a pedestal, even after so many years of being the best. Makes you realise that at the end of the day he's just a human with feelings and anxieties like the rest of us.

I don't think he's humble. He has to suppress all that confidence he has, keeps the fire burning. He could be a prick like a lot of golfers, but he subdues it intentionally. Hints of his arrogance spew, and then you see what happens with his history etc. Not saying he's not a great guy, I'm just saying he has a ton of emotions to suppress. He was brought up in an intense environment. His dad was intense. He too is intense.

I had overwhelming tears of joy when he won the Masters, and like Jada, it inspired me to take the game seriously. Check out 'A Low Down Dirty Shame' and try not to hug her itty bitty self through the screen). I'm so happy she got her birdie. Well deserved. I also loved seeing Tiger this way. He is a star without comparison and he has built himself into this epic, legendary, clutch-machine, golf God through hard yards and great balance in his physical, mental and spiritual sides. But we barely get to see his teacher mode, his human mode, his buddy mode etc. In fact he strides the pantheon so well it defeats our imagination, that he could be human. Rock star Tiger is a rock star teacher. Who would have guessed? Well I guess that became apparent when Charlie went all gangsta Tiger cub on the course. Wishing Tiger and Jada much love and respect.

My goodness.... the moments around 10:00 to 11:00... he's a little boy inside as we all are... He's trying to be able to see things in a way other than the one Earl showed him. Trying to see Earl's way of seeing things as a starting point not the only point. She's taking him into the heart realm, and you can see he's simultaneously hesitant about it, but wants to go there as well.

But now we see such a better athlete, person and bigger inspiration for all of us in life and Golf! It would an amazing thing beyond all he’s already done to see him come back and break the major record! Now that would cement him as the greatest athlete of all time in any sport, although most of us already knows he is!!😊😊
