Excellent modelling of good technique. Good golf talk throughout. Im not a fan of fairway woods but you put it to good use. Not much talk about crosswinds on changing elevations. I wonder how important that is to the result of the shot. Another great video. Thank you.

Swing thought to always have. Think less trust yourself more. My grandpappy always told me when we played in his member guest tournament that thinking only weakens the team. When you play good you don't think as much so your focus is more concentrated on each shot and what you want to happen. Whereas when you are not playing so good you are always questioning yourself. Love the videos Mike they have nothing but good vibes even when you are not playing your best!!!

Maderas GC is a well kept secret/hidden gem 💎. Played that course prior to COVID-19. It’s a great course to play golf, well maintained and staff were very friendly.

Lack of confidence at your level probably means focusing on outcome or mechanics. So you might need a mental program that focuses on the feelings of all of your amazing shots. How excited were you when your training paid off? How did the ball against the club face feel on drive/pitch/chips? How weightless did the club feel through the hitting area? How soft were your hands? What was your tempo feeling ? How excited were you by the challenge? All these things build mental “IMPRESSIONS” for what your great shots are like. But most importantly they get you used to focusing on your successes and not worrying about whether you’ll have more of them. Process is KING. Get a process for remembering successes, and record them all mentally. :) thanks for the content guys

“Attainment” by Troy Bassham explains this much better. But the idea is to create a list of the most important checkpoints for each shot, and score yourself on each checkpoint performed correctly on every shot instead of scoring yourself based on the outcome. “Try just hard enough” 7, “Visualize the clubface sending the ball exactly where I want” 8. “Take a deep breath at address.” 0 (I forgot!) you get the point. Same list. Every shot.
