This is proof of this song probably being the greatest odd-meter groove oriented prog-rock song of all time.

God, that left hand on the crash cymbal is so sick! Love the fluidity and note placement. Judd always looks sneaky to me the way he hits those accents. Check out Twelve Foot Ninja for more sneaky syncopated cymbal accents.

The drum skill is off the charts. 7-4 is such a beast to play in.

it’s really 27/4. You can think of it as 3 bars of 7/4 and 1 bar of 6/4.

I used to be in a band with johno called "NEON KELLY" he played guitar I played bass. Johno and his girlfriend at the time wrote the music, it was great music to play. Steve filled in for our drummer once with 2 days notice and played perfectly.

I was the one who shot the original footage, it was done on a handcam and the audio I got from the camera mic was too distorted making it unusable. Still Impressive to see how Steve essentially plays everything almost exactly how it is on the original recording.

nop, he is right handed but he often ends beats with the left hand. But he's 100% right handed
