Its the only coaster on earth with ALL of these attributes. 1. It leaves the park. 2. It passes over another coaster from the same manufacturer twice. 3. It passes over a log flume ride. 4. It passes over the road leaving in and out of the parking lot. 5. It passes over a food vendor 6. It passes over 4 walkways, 3 in the park, one outside of the park. 7. Passes over 2 ponds There are a lot of coasters that do one or a few of these things in some combination, but none do ALL of them like Goliath. I love this ride.

These seem like very arbitrary and cherry picked attributes that don't really equate to anything, did you study yapology by chance?

B&M hypers often have one, or a combination of 4 common flaws. -They lose a lot of speed going over the camelbacks -Forceless turnarounds -The ride sort of pauses at the mid-course brake run -Trim brakes Goliath seems to solve all of them. The train flies over the camelbacks, the turnaround is a downward helix, there is no mid-course, and the one set of trims doesn't hit very hard.

It makes sense why people think this is one of the best b&m hypers.

hypers arent meant to be intense. they are for airtime and speed. make a hyper that incudes some inverted elements. when is place going to do a repaint of this. seriously 17 years old and never been repainted

Best B&M hyper I've ever been on... One of the best hypers in the US... Only fault I can list is that the 1st and 2nd drops aren't as crazy as the rest of the ride. Needs to steal the 1st 2 drops on Candymonium... Very easy to overlook that weakness.

I agree, definitely. It’s my 3rd favorite hyper behind Diamondback and Candymonium.🥃

This looks sick! 🤘Definitely a sleeper B&M. I love they way they went over ponds, roads and buildings- that is an amazing way to utilize space! Any open spot in your park?! Slap a B&M thru it!

I don't know why people think Mako is better. This ride is intense the whole way through vs makos second half is boring.
@WapoStudios2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I rode these within a week of each other and it’s not even close. Mako is good but is nowhere near as aggressive or consistent as Goliath.
@theyojo16562 жыл бұрын
gotta disagree. they’re both absolutely amazing rides, like most other b&m hypers, but mako takes the win. the airtime is considerably better on mako. this layout is definitely better, especially with the final set of ejector hills and helix, but mako just has better airtime.
@WapoStudios2 жыл бұрын
@@theyojo1656 Mako for me only had stronger airtime than the other hypers on the speed hill and the hop into the mid course brake run. The rest of the moments were on par with the others. Other than the first drop, Goliath’s airtime is way stronger.
@theyojo16562 жыл бұрын
@@WapoStudios were you riding on the back train? it makes a massive difference. i thought Goliath’s floater was good, but makos was perfection. extremely strong and lasting. it’s the only b&m hyper i’ve ridden that can deliver that extreme level of floater
@WapoStudios2 жыл бұрын
@@theyojo1656 yes, I rode it a few times in the back. Honestly the back was weaker than the front on Mako for me. The front had stronger air but those moments were about on-par with the weaker moments on Goliath.
