I have seen Mr. R. Gomez a number of times in the past in malls & he has always been gracious & friendly to meet a fan like me. Even now as I watch him do his cooking, the goodness in him radiates in his tone & in his choice of words. Truly a kind & good person. More power to you Mr. Gomez!

AGUYYYYY KALAMI... CRUNCHY KAAYO BAI GOMZ... THANKS FOR SHARING. Last time i cooked lechon kawali di malutong ang balat dapat pla magpa kulo muna tubig b4 dipping the pork. What i did was i dipped the pork in cold water and let it boil. Thanks kaayo idol

i experimented the best /crispier litson kawali in 3 different ways. After boiling 3pcs of 1kg each it for 45min. the first one, I airdry it overnight, the other freeze it over night, the other one dehydrate it as turbo or airfry for 45min. The next day I fried them together , the one with the crisper skin is the one dried in airfier. Ang unang 2 masyadong matalsik.The secret is dapat dry ang skin. Mas healthier kapag after mo I airdry buhusan lang ng boiling oil without actually cooking it as kawali. Viola crispier LITSON KAWALI!

One of the technique that i do before deep frying my lechon kawali is putting it inside the freezer for 2-3 hrs, then leave it at room temperature for 1 hr, pat dry it with paper towel just before frying, then hindi sya masyado matlsik... sherepppppp nyan Richard!!! one of my ultimate fave aside from lechon 😀💜👍👍

Sobrang sarap po…na missed ko po Ito…bawal deep fry dito sa Hongkong..air fryer gamit namin..masarap po talaga pag nalubog sa cooking oil…pag uwi nang pinas lutuin ko po Ito..thanks for sharing. Love this dish Gomz 🥰 just a friendly reminder, careful with the cholesterol not getting any younger too! I am 57 and i love lechon but i had angina pectoris when i was 32yrs old ever since i am maintaining meds already! Once in a while maybe good🤗

Hi Richard ! I notice that every time you do your garlic, you smashed it with your bare hands, I know it doesn’t bother you because you are still strong & young but soon , when you get older it MAY cause you some problem …. I have a friend who also enjoyed cooking & doing the same thing as you were doing…. He developed a lump in that part of your hands wc you use for smashing the garlic…. Just sharing some knowledge for you to avoid, wag naman sanang mangyari sa iyo because you are a very good person. Just let somebody do it for you before your cooking.,, sa dami ng mga niluto mo doing it, baka mag karuon ng damaged yung kamay mo pag may edad ka na… Just piece of advice lang kung tatangapin mo… I always watch you cooking show… I also love cooking … Lennie ( 75 years old) retired cook, Toronto Canada

I used air fryer when cooking litson kawali so I don’t have to use oil anymore and it’s moist and crispy.
