My mom used to cook this, actually this is one of my favorite among all vegetables i also cook this home but i put some chicaron to make it more tastier. my mom use bagoong not salt or patis. richard is a very GOOD CHIEF REALLY I LOVE HIS VIDEO in pangisinan we cook differently in fact all pinoy cook in different ways it doesn't really matter how we cook as long as its PINAKBET no question ask.

I agree, Pinakbet is one of the bestsellers in restaurant. The most delicious one I had tried was in Sugbahan. Seeing it so simple yet so delicious.

Galing po ninyo magluto Sir Goma sangkuchado tlaga ung paggisa nyo ng mga ingredients hindi panisin ang mga food kapag maayos ang paggisa. Ang sarap nagmamantika ung sahog, lutung-luto tlaga! Perfect po. 👍👍

I cook same way except i dont throw away heads of shrimps..i set them aside to mash them and strain in with water for sauce flavor also. .lots of flavor the better. Thank you po.

The authentic Ilocano Pinakbet di ginigisa Idol. layer layer lang yan till maluto lahat. parang pangat na fish lang ang procedure. ung sahod sa ibabaw nalang.may luya din siya Idol.

My lola is Ilocano and lagi nya iniinsist na di daw pinakbet pag may kalabasa 🤣 Bulanglang daw yun 🤣 Sabay di daw dapat alamang bagoong isda daw dapat. Kaya di sya kumakain ng pakbet na luto namen pakbet nya lang daw authentic and masarap hahahaha miss her ❤️

ung first na pinanuod ko c sir richard gomez. ung nasa taas sya ng sim nila nagkukuha ng manga. napaka humble nilang magpapamilya. . naku po air gomez .faborito namin yan mga ilocano. proud pakbet ilocano dishes.. im from ilocos sur. now at capiz husband province. yan din na po ang sinasahug ko kc capiz seafood capital of the philippines. sana po like po kau s a channel ko na ito. baking concepts . bago palang at wla pa edits haha🤣😂 pero matatakam po kau sa cakes na gawa ko. at mga kiddos ko na makukulit😍😊😊

Kuya Goma, I have another way to suggest how to cook pinakbet. Cook everything like you use to but cook the sweet potato yam separately. Boil them. Until it soften then mash a few sweet potato yam and mix them with the sauce of the packet together with your pinakuluan ng pakbet then put a little brown sugar to just have a sweet variation of sweeteness from the yam and the brown sugar. But make sure the sweeteness of the yam is dominant. Also make sure, the ampalaya is juiced out of it's bitterness just right enough. Throw away the juice of the water of ampalaya. More power and thanks for all the tips.

My father is from Pangasin and never did know how to cook pinakbet and my mother is from San Juan Tagalog so,,,,, I'm 'PangTagalog',, love veggies that's what I always prepare gulay and fruits are good for you. Thank you po Mr Goma for the dish God Bless you and family

Hi Sir Goma taga cebu ako originally and i am currently living in Finland, favorite ka talaga ng husband ko na isang Finnish citizen, sabi nya pinoy version ka daw ni Jamie Oliver kasi napakasimple and natural na magluto, like a normal people would love to watch and also learn..favorite nya kc ang siopao so ask nya baka daw pwede po kau gumawa ng sariling version nyo ng siopao..Salamat po..

Masarap ho Kayo magluto. Healthy. Dito sa Paknit ang ayoko ko lang ay ang TABA NG BABOY. Though it adds flavor siguro ho ay gupitin natin ang mga taba para iwas sa mga sakit na dulot ng taba ng baboy gaya ng high blood , cholesterol , kidney, liver and heart disease.
