Actually, dsmash has a bigger hitbox and kill more consistently because of meteor cancel, so axe is only doing it for the style.

@@buggybaguette5916 I still use it simply cuz it catches opponents off guard, so they miss the meteor cancel. Most people expect a dsmash.

NathBo down tilt may be slower, smaller hit box, and less reliable of a kill, but I think since it doesn’t lock you into the second sword swipe it has way less end lag so you can act out if it if you miss!

Bruh... I play Toon Link in Project +, but have started playing Melee more cuz of Project Slippi (if only P+ got its own Project Slippi and I could go back to it LOL). Back in the day I mained Marth, Link and YL. My Marth gets destroyed by the new meta, and Link is so bad, so I've been playing a ton of YL. OMG... fighting the spacies really is so hard! When I get a Fox or Falco in Unranked mode on FD I might as well quit out. You can't combo them reliably until at least 50%, and getting kills is so easy task. In the mean time, they can combo the living shit out of YL and score KO's with little difficulty. I really think YL would be a high-mid tier character if it weren't for the spacies.
