gon likely even here has more raw power than hisoka,hisoka is a tehnique guy,he has experience,instinct etc,hes never displayed insane levels of power like uvo had

@@deenman23 Definitely. It's mainly due to the type of Nen they use. But Hisoka is still very powerful because he doesn't neglect the basics, like Tsezugera did... or Kastro. He explicitly criticized Kastro for this as he finished the fight. So Hisoka doesn't match enhancers like Uvo or Gon in brute strength, but he's otherwise pretty good. (In the Troupe's arm wrestling ranking, he was third, right after two major enhancers. Though it's unclear if Nen was factored in.) Transmuters are also adjacent to enhancers, so he doesn't fall too far behind in this respect.

15:48 It's not a matter of knowing the technique. It's about the experience to activate and deactivate a focused Nen technique with the exact timing. At this stage, Killua has more raw power that Tsezugera, but without the years of experience. ... Then again, this is not the only factor here. ... (And yes, I dare. Killua has had months to catch up with the veteran. As much of a genius as he is, he can't just catch up in seconds.)

This is a nitpick of mine and it doesn’t really affect the end result, but I honestly believe the “it has to be Killua” is just Togashi wanting to shape the story to be more entertaining. Not only Killua could release the ball at the last instant, Hisoka could dangle the ball with bungee gum and release it before impact. And Gon nen punches should explode the ball. The reason Razor can throw without exploding the ball is because he has time to use Shu mid-throw to make the ball stronger and heavier.

Well yeah? The entire point of the scene is to show how destructive Gon's selfishness is, and how it doesn't matter to Killua how bad he's being damaged because it's for his friend without realizing how bad that is

@@Uehahahara Nen has been mentioned several times as extremely dependent on the user's mindset. If Gon doesn't believe he can output 100%, he simply won't be able to. It's a lot like conditions placed on abilities, though to a lesser degree. As for the ball, I would disagree. It's likely that Gon also uses Shu. He has learned the technique earlier and you can see the ball is wrapped in aura. Razor probably wouldn't need a special way to block the ball if it was just a piece of leather sent flying at high speed, because it takes Nen to bypass a strong Nen defense.
