People will fly across the world to see a Dimash concert. At the Dubai concert there were people from 72 different countries, some had flown for 36 hours just to see him live. I don't know of anyone else who draws that kind of international attention. Dimash still has two unfulfilled goals, to win a Grammy and to hold a concert in Wembley Stadium, if it hadn't been for the pandemic I think he'd be well on the way to both of those. Hopefully now he has Ralph Simon behind him and was in talks with major German concert organisers only a few weeks ago those goals may be getting a bit closer. Btw you should react to Screaming from the Dubai concert and Durduraz from the Prague concert both from this year and epic live performances. They are fancam versions but both very high quality.

Hmmm...what to react to next - so many great songs from Dimash - was going to suggest Daybreak - Bastau [which you should listen to anyway :) ] - but am going to suggest for a reaction Durdaraz 2021

Daybreak (Bastau) should only be recommended along with an advisory to research the backstory before hand or to watch the 2017 performance from the Gloria Wu channel which contains the backstory. At least half of the emotional impact of the Bastau performance is missing without knowing the backstory.

Dimash’s range is the piano keyboard plus whistle tones and he has absolute pitch so he can sing any note he chooses. This is in Italian so only 14 more languages to go.

that one i so short under 2 minutes so please also in the same reaction do the one from "Singer" 2017 competion there he does it with the song Confessa before it! Both are epic versions. The one from Bastaou is somewhere between middle and end froma over 2.30 houer show and the song before he just had hanged from the sealing in 2 wires and belted out some insaine notes froma MJ medley!!! Here are links for them both... Episode 12 : 'Confessa & The Diva Dance Confessa in Mandarin/Italian and the Diva dance come from the movie 5th element!!! If you haven’t heard of that one it’s done in a computer because it was too hard for a human to sing!! His consorts are about 2, 5-3 hours long and I think he did this song towards the end of it. Composed by Igor for Dimash. For the opening ceremony of the European Games. It was being discussed about him singing it at the Tokyo Olympics, but then the pandemic arrived. However, it did win him the Best Classical Singer of the Year, at the Victoria Music Awards in Russia. You really need to see the lyrics. Extremely motivating .

In your spare time because this is such a great song and you can't listen to it too many times, play his version of the same song that he performed at the opening ceremonies of the Olympics a few years ago. The lyrics and the performance and the sound all in that stadium coming from that unknown person probably had an effect on some of those athletes. I like pretending I was an athlete listening to him for the first time and found inspiration in his song and performance and lyrics that it made me get that extra inch or centimeter needed for victory because of the extra effort put it at the end all attributing to the inspiration of the most talented singer in the world. I live in a little bit of a fantastical bubble of dreams. As an athlete that would have been awesome too hear and later perform too, at least in my mind I think of these possibilities. I think that's why I like that performance even more than this one. Yet, Again they are equally jaw dropping awesome performances.

Have you seen Opera 2 performed in 2017 on the “I am Singer” competition in China? It was the only time he sung it in public because the composer, Vitas, asked Dimash not to sing it again.

Great reaction and greetings from Minnesota! 🌲🌞🌲 Agreed that Dimash is unsurpassed for his smooth and seamless transitions between vocal registers. In Olimpico I find his most beautiful example of this in the phrase "Solo amore è risposta al perchè" (in the second section where he goes up an octave), specifically on the syllables "è ris" where he needs to drop to his lower register for just those two notes and then immediately moves back up. His placement is so perfect that it's almost inaudible. Beyond. Exquisite. Legato. My head explodes.

Thank you so much for appreciating that vocal switch from low to um pretty. So many reactors pause to talk right in between the two parts and totally ruin the effect. And then you replayed it, which I loved, since it's my favorite part of this performance.
