我開始聽鋼琴，就是從傅先生的蕭邦...希望在天上，兩位鋼琴詩人能做最好的知音。傅聰生前曾說過，他信奉父親的教導，「我父親說，第一做人，第二做藝術家，第三是音樂家，最後才是鋼琴家，這個順序，我始終認為，非常正確。」

西方一般的次序，拾级而上，好像先做好鋼琴家、之后是音樂家、最高景界是藝術家。好的鋼琴家单俄罗斯一国，每年就出一百几十个，但当中没几个真懂音乐的，特别是对作曲一知半解的，及音乐学 ( musicology ) 弱的那些。艺术家要求更高：，完全掌握好音乐外，同时还要看透人生，少不更事的，即使是天才 (例如 Kissin ) ，除非本身大慈大悲，否则很难达到艺术家的门坎。傳聰说的是，做人是终極目標，途径依次是鋼琴家、音樂家、藝術家。

I guess it's life. You get busy, there are only so many things and artists you can pay attention to. This is very beautiful, aristocratic playing: sincere but not sentimental and with the most beautiful sound and exquisite rubato. A couple of years ago I found a box set of cds in a record shop by pianist I'd never heard of: Maryla Jonas. I thought that since Sony were releasing them, they might be worthi trying. They are indeed. If you've never heard her, give her a go. The recorded sound is average for the 40s and early 50s but the playing is astonishing.

录音不饱满，有些扁平化了。录音本身的沙沙声音太明显。对比Szpiman的版本差距还是有的。这是一首悲伤、内敛的曲子，红色衣服配上大幅度的摇头晃脑，显得特别喜庆。和Szpilman的版本比较还是有很大差别。
