Old story from my school, someone did something similar (sneak fed nuts to someone with nut allergy), the big brother of the victim found out and BEAT the culprit to a bloody pulp (and if the story holds true, told him that "if my little brother dies, YOU die"), the story was told again now and then when someone with such kinds of allergies started in school, but also that "even if the person dosen't have a big brother who's willing to do that, there WILL be someone else".

@Pinkie007 Жыл бұрын
I used to be a “freak/geek” and hung out with other freaks/geeks and I’d actually say the complete opposite. They are rarely ever loyal, and you can’t trust or rely on them. They’ll lie to appear cool. They’ll get jealous if you achieve anything. They’ll ditch you if they get accepted into another clique that they consider as more “cool”. They are creeps towards girls and will do anything to get laid. Watch the movie Superbad, their friendship dynamic is incredibly toxic and that’s how freaks/geeks really are. I’m not saying they’re all like this. But most absolutely are. And the reason why, is because they don’t hang around with each-other because they want to, they do it because they have to. Everyone else rejected them and you’re their last resort and they are yours. Most of them are weasels and I’m not friends with any of the ones I used to hang with in high-school anymore.
@CantabileLove Жыл бұрын
@@Pinkie007 Well at the end of the day there's highly insecure and immature people in all kinds of groups or any entire group can be like that, i cannot say my group was cool because they were geeks, they just were cool AND geeks. @@Pinkie007 Well I can't deny your experience but I'm pretty sure they weren't bad to hang around because of the fact that they were geeks. If they were rejected because of that then of course they're not gonna trust anyone. Someone is gotta prove them wrong but if the whole environment is gonna treat them like shit then they will most certainly not participate in society. In my school geeks weren't very popular but you would always find a non-geek who would hang around them. Through mutual friends the circle would get bigger and voila - we got a naturally formed, genuine group of friends. US wouldn't have school shootings without bullies too

I actually relate with both the victim and the bully. I have been both unfortunately. I was a victim of bullying every day in primary school. And then I am ashamed to admit it but I did become a bully to one kid in high school. I have since apologised and grown as a person but yeah don't bully people of any age. It's a vicious cycle, victims often become bullies. If I ever am lucky enough to have kids of my own I'll make sure they know not to do what I did and I'll support them if they do get bullied.
@pepper51284 ай бұрын
I think most of us have been both, it's just human nature. Kids are immature and they lack a filter, we develop that filter and maturity as we age. When we grow we begin to regret things we said and did, it's all a part of growing up. Life is a balancing act and you've got to learn to balance on the spot, there are no do-overs, no taksie backsies. Empathy, at least for me, was developed by doing harm to others and realising soon after that doing harm didn't feel as good as I thought it would. C'est la vie. You just have to apologise, hope you didn't do too much damage and never do it again. I too have been bullied and have been the bully, and I honestly don't think that's peculiar. If people are being honest, then they should see that they have also been both. If anyone says otherwise, then they are either an incredibly good person, bordering on saintly, or, more likely, they are lying to themselves. Good on you for learning from your experiences, bro. I have also, and I deeply regret those times when I played the part of the bully and I forgive those that did it to me.

I think the most amazing part is when you see Bill you instantly think "nerd" lets have a revenge of the nerds father with tape on your glasses... the reason this show is the best show ever made is Bill & his mother being a former stripper & she doesn't want her son to be anything like the guys she sees everyday... so Bill isn't a nerd, he's sheltered & shy. @chrisz7494 Жыл бұрын
Refuses to take a health concern seriously, decides to test it, fucks around and finds out, sends an innocent kid to the hospital, apologises while his victim is in a coma so he doesn't have to face real consequences, then gets off scot free with just a shitty apology. Also, i dont live in the US so my experience has been vastly different. My primary school regularly sent out advisories about peanut allergies and i know a lot of people with nut or egg allergies who are believed instantly. Why is it that when I read anything about food allergies in the States, it's always about some irrelevant person not believing and trying to disprove it and then realising that allergies aren't a joke? (The coconut story from reddit comes to mind, but that one will rightfully ruin your day. And the mother in the story wants people to stop sharing it because she might encounter it and it's triggering). Is it so hard to believe that some people just can't tolerate some foods? Would you fuck around and hide a hot pepper in food to test someone's spice tolerance?
@StephiieZee Жыл бұрын
