I wish there were more characters like Lindsay in tv shows today. She could have easily been such an annoying character, but the actress manages to be so fucking cool even in that nerdy outfit. In modern teen tv shows, girls who fake their personality or are socially conflicted are so annoying. They usually overkill and are just pathetic. But Lindsay manages to be both vulnerable, conflicted, and so god damn confident when she needs to be. She seems SO realistic. WE NEED ANOTHER SHOW LIKE THIS, PERIOD!

@@HELLO_KORO Here's the proof that they do, just from this scene: 1). Daniel doesn't try to engage with Lindsay at first. Ken and Kim are their usual insensitive selves, but Daniel holds back, dribbling the ball and avoiding eye contact with Lindsay. He knows she must have gotten in tons of trouble for totalling her dad's car, and maybe he even feels a bit guilty for pressuring her to "borrow" the car in the first place. 2). The first thing he says to her is that the party has been postponed. He really wants her to be there! 3). All through this conversation he keeps getting in her space and getting more upset. She eventually gets up in _his_ space, and most of her anger is directed at just him. She's had a crush on him for months now, and she's frustrated. Kim and Ken just stand there, clueless. 4). When Daniel gets mad at Kim, he calls her a bitch. When he gets mad at Lindsay, he calls her "princess." That's telling. 5). In the cafeteria he complains, "Who asked her to hang out with us, anyway?" He did. 😂 There's also a shot, not included in this video, of him staring at her from across the cafeteria.

It's not much of a secret, tbh. Daniel stayed with Kim because Kim didn't have any expectations of him, and Lindsay dated Nick mostly out of pity. Daniel and Lindsay were going to be a thing in the next season, before it got cancelled 😭

How could you literally cancel one of the best shows in TV history. The ending was literal trash and they could have done so much more with the show. It's not like the ratings or the fans were lacking. It had a perfect cast a perfect Dynamic and a perfect time period. Now I'm forced to watch this one season over and over again wishing there was something more. wikipedia said that the show was unprofitable, the ratings were low and only gained the "cult following" after the cancellation. It's all about the money of course. "Red Oaks" was such a good show too and Amazon ended it after the 3rd season. Check it out if you like these 80s themed movie/tv shows.

I LOVE how she doesn't hesitate to define her anger. In usual teen series, the nerdy female protagonist somehow loses her wit when it comes to standing against the "freaks" and is depicted as so miserable. However, realistically, she is supposed to have a quick mind and a sharp tongue as she is already clever in lessons, so she must have intense responses at least. Linsday here was pissed and wasn't afraid to show it.

They should reboot Freaks and Geeks with a new cast set in 1984 ( after the original cast has already graduated). It could be a series like American Horror Story where each season is a new cast/ story line. Of coarse it would have to be done by the original behind the scenes people that created the original. That is the only way you could reboot this show. Or even remake it set later and some of the original cast could be in it as older characters; imagine Neal or Bill as a teacher
