Huddlestone was signed from Derby, he went to Hull after Tottenham. Thought Ange’s interview did show some signs of pressure, but I do think Tottenham have looked better than their results suggest so far though. Played really well at Leicester and drew and then played really well at Newcastle and lost. Wasn’t a bad performance against Arsenal, just not creating enough and switched off for a set piece. It’s fine margins.

Ange is reactive, not proactive he's the attacking version of Southgate! As Sir Alex Ferguson once said, “Attack wins you games, defence wins you titles.” I don't see Ange is capable of building us defensively. Some issues have built over Ange's time at Spurs. Ange has no plan B! He's stubborn with his system/tactics. He doesn't train them defensively/set-pieces. He plays players out of their favoured position while he shoehorns them into less favoured positions. Ange only signs lower-quality younger players because he can't handle the high-quality experienced players! It's a shame, but I just can't see how Ange can seriously survive with only signing untested, unproven youngsters who could well not make it. There are no signs they will make it. It's all down to let's just hope for the best!

Over the line? The last time spurs got over the line was in 2008. Regarding kane, he was a master at winning the softest pens and scoring them, part of the dark arts. He actually has more NLD goals from pens than open play goals vs Arsenal. This is something spurs relied on heavily. Since his departure their routine pens have dried up in NLD's along with their goals and they suddenly stop winning them. Arsenal use dark arts during set pieces, but also score open play goals.

As an Arsenal fan who does not hate the Spurs (and would rather see success in North London rather than constantly up north between the two Manchester clubs and Liverpool) - Ange needs to stay. The Tottenham hierarchy should provide Ange with coaches for defense and set pieces. The offense is fine. Beautiful football. It's not shame that the Spurs came up against a stingy Arsenal defense and lost the game by a single lapse in concentration, off a corner kick. Otherwise, the game was quite evenly matched or in favor of Tottenham (less the goal).
