Gone in 60 Seconds (also known as Gone in Sixty Seconds) is a 2000 American action heist film starring Nicolas Cage, Angelina Jolie, Giovanni Ribisi, Christopher Eccleston, Robert Duvall, Vinnie Jones, Delroy Lindo, Chi McBride, and Will Patton. The film was directed by Dominic Sena, written by Scott Rosenberg, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The film is a loose remake of the 1974 H. B. Halicki film of the same name.

I was an extra on this movie on the long beach bridge and warehouse. This was back in '98, Cage actually hit the side of the bridge while reversing, not too hard but they pulled him out as a precaution. He then looked me straight in the eyes and said 'was that alright?!' Not an easy car to drive, they had several Shelby's nearby, with different rigs. The things that went over the ramp was like a green cardboard boxcar. Was a great shoot over the weekend, they fed us steak and lobsters, the director Dominic Senna always had a cigar on him. Thanks for this video brings back lots of good memories.

Was 13 when this movie came out. Grew up most of adolescence in Pedro. So seeing the bridge in the movie was always so cool to me as a kid. Still one of the best car movies of all time. Thanks for the video.

I was 6 when I first saw the trailer for this film on tv as I was getting ready to go to school, As a kid I must have watched it over 100 times and i can still quote it like yourself, other than the cars i think my favourite scene is actually the intro, There is so much care and attention to detail in sharing the story of Memphis' and Kips upbringing. The Original Eleanor film Car (Hero Car) is located in Gemnany and owned by a Company called Chrome Cars. It’s signed by Cage Himself and Confirmed by Universal Pictures that this is the real and only one Hero Car. Btw.: the Eleanor Movie Car has a different Hood and Sloghtly Different Bumper then the Eleanor Limited Editions you could buy which were made a couple of years ago.

On the Bridge jump scene. The initial shot was East to West. The actual jump was actually in the West to East direction. Being from San Pedro where the bridge is it always annoyed me. Good video BTW!

If all possible can you do a filming locations review on the movie "Black Dog". I know it was mainly filmed in Georgia similar to Dukes of Hazzard, Smokey and The Bandit, and My Cousin Vinny. But there is absolutely no history on the Internet. It would be something to look into.

Two things. What's a Lucid.? And you where going the wrong way on the Vincent Thomas Bridge. I was born and raised in Orange County, CA. My Late Dad worked for 30 years in the area around the Vincent Thomas Bridge. Nick Cage was going from West to East when they did the CGI jump scene.

I guess Lucid is a fancy car company, idk. And for the jump scene, I had to watch it multiple times to figure up which way he was going. I did see that he was going the opposite way but after watching it and driving it, I was in fact on the correct side he was

Iowa Battelship. It's the same dock that the cruise lines used to use before they moved over to the Queen Mary.

Eleonor's a sweet car but it's a restomod, that one in the video was bought for $852,000, I've seen Eleonor replicas go for $300-$400K. I still prefer John Wick's very authentic '69 Mustang Boss 429, maybe not worth as much, probably get $750K at an auction, but it's got all the classic features, nothing modern.

@@TheNashFiles Not ragging on restoration projects with modern body kits and performance upgrades, Chip Foose does some amazing work, he turns vehicles into works of art, but classic muscle cars with their original parts and engines looking like they just came off the assembly line are spectacular, those cars are tender loving cared for. My personal favourite is the 1963 Corvette rear-split coupe, white & red trim with red & white trim interior.

One location I tried to figure it out back in 2007 when I visited L.A. for the first time was the actual garage where Eleanor is stolen from. Never heard of the actual place/location, or even just the entrance that is seen on the movie...

@@TheNashFiles well, that was pictured in the original movie from the 70s. In the 2000, they just mention the international towers, but then the scene is on a random parking. I just went to the zone at International Towers in Long Beach, and covered a few blocks by foot, trying to match it up to the scene. Never found a near familiar one... Movie magic I guess
