Without any real jazz sensibility (the saxophonist is wasted) or much rest from thrashing guitars it's just like the weaker parts of old Gong without Allen's weird ethereal voice.

Just saw them live (and didn't expect so much and... So wrong ! But it sounds much better live). Maybe you'll answer than this is live but it not SOUNDS live, it has a clean mix with a radio type sound. Agree. Gong is only Gong if Daevid is there. This is Baby Gong to me. Very good, but not really Gong.
