Hello~ someone asked in the previous vlog about traveling right now with the covid cases rises in Korea so just wanted to remind you that these videos I'm posting are usually 3+ weeks old :) Hope you're all doing great and staying safe!
@alyssarosengard66743 жыл бұрын
Stay safe Cari. Glad you took us for a fun trip. The weather in CT is terrible. Endless dark skies and heavy humidity. We have mushrooms growing everywhere from all the dampness. There are only about 3 months to get sun in CT and we are definitely not replenishing our Vitamin D levels. I’m already thinking I am going to need a sun lamp for the winter.

What is the vaccination situation in Korea? You need two shots to be safe with these new covid variants. I’m still waiting for my second shot. I wish you all the best! ☀️

I just wanted to write down how much I appreciate the work you put into each clip. You give South Korea such a serene and warm image. You work so hard to present us many places, to edit and sketch ideas. Your channel has become a place of comfort and I didn't think it was possible to attach myself to anything on youtube. It sounds very precious what I write, but I think you are extremely beautiful and you have such a strong aura. Sorry for my bad english. Sending you only positive vibe✨

It never ceases to amaze me what they were capable of building in ancient times. I mean look at the walls of those tombs, Tomb 6's wall-stones are so uniform they almost look like books lined up all the way to the ceiling ! And they must have known what they were doing building the castle walls up that high to get such a great view of the surrounding area. Always love historical cities and looks like it was a great day to explore this one !

Thanks so much for this! Been following you for a while - my son has lived in Gongju for nearly 11 years now, teaching English. I’ve visited there once so far, in February 2017, when the fortress had icy paths that prevented us from exploring it all. I’m going back next April or May (fingers crossed that quarantining will be done by then), and going to explore much more. That forest! Love that, and it will definitely be part of my plans. Good luck with your next chapter! (Posted a link to this on my FB, with credit to you, because I have friends and fam back in the US that are interested.) Really love seeing parts of Korea I am not aware of through your channel!

After you enter the bamboo head with the tree in the middle you clearly enter a paralel world (it just reminded me so much of haruki murakami after reading the plaque) 😅 the shoes are propably one thing you have to leave behind? Lol, sorry for my nonsense. This Vlog was just what I needed right now, wonderful Park, thanks for showing us cari ;)
@lux32263 жыл бұрын
I found those shoes both terrifying, but a little reassuring. Maybe because I'm Korean, I kinda get the mindset naturally? I dunno, but I felt like those shoes signified that, even when we, as a race are gone, life will continue to exist, and nature will simply gently reassert itself. I dunno, I may be way off the mark, but that's what I got from it, and I found myself getting a little bit emotional at the sight of it. ^^
