I heard a lot of negative talk about how the cuse did'nt even belong in the tournament this year . Give the selection committee credit for recognizing the tough schedule and the competitiveness of Syracuse.much props to the kids and coach for not choking and seeing it through, even after when the kids stole the ball clean . And stayed inbounds and they called him out when in fact he was inbounds. Awesome, is only thing that comes to mind

edward suhr even though syracuse lost to duke today. People have to understand that they were one of the last double digit seeds in the tournament, outlasting michigan st and coming so close to duke. The fact that syracuse made it to the sweet sixteen still shows the passion to get better and get back to where they used to be.

I think I like these announcers the best of all the March Madness folks. Kevin Harlan is fantastic. Cuse is top 5 overall basketball program. Best fan base, top attendance, classic coach and consistent success in March.

Comment after seeing the game recap: even elite NCAA tournament teams can't handle the last minute full court press - the intensity, the pressure, the tension, the fear of losing the handle, pass get stolen, even those players have rehearsed thousands of times can't make the right decision at the final minutes. Seeing Zags, and NOI game earlier agains Texas A&M, can't imagine what those 10 players on the court had been thru. But ultimate salute to those who had not given up the game even when the team was down double-digits. Utter respect!

The Zags have made 5 straight sweet 16's or better in the past 5 seasons, and nor always as a high seed. Like this year.

Gonzaga will never be a championship program unless they learn how to close games out in big moments. They have a habit of falling apart down the stretch in both NCAA games and big non-conference regular season games. Dates back a lot of years, maybe to the infamous UCLA game in 2006. Maybe it comes from not playing very many competitive games in conference play, or going 3 months between playing top-quality teams, but they certainly have not been what you can call clutch.

walterlv01 DUDE you think gonzaga chokes in a lot of games. syracuse stays choking in the 2nd half, they just had a good tournament GO CUSE.

Cannot disagree, but it was a shame that Nigel Williams-Goss blew out his ankle at the end to the 2017 title game. He was dominating UNC. They couldn't stop him. There was an awful call in this 'Cuse game at the end.The over and back call was a terrible miscue by the refs. Truth is, GU was lucky to even be in this tournament. If they had lost the WCC final, their tourney streak would've been broken. Proving their run of success hasn't always been the result of seeding. Walterlv01 = They will figure it out one of these days. You cannot win that many games (nearly 83% - if it were so easy to do, why hasn't another coach done it?)). Sadly, the 2020 Zags were headed for the 2nd number one overall seed in the NCAA tourney with their first 2 games being played in Spokane Arena, but COVID-19 Intervened. They have their best recruiting class ever coming in headed by arguably the #1 PG in the nation in Jalen Suggs (#5 overall with ESPN). If the kids who entered their names into the draft w/out an agent return (as they are expected to), they will likely be the preseason AP #1 team.
