The crowd went crazy when Bob Seger said ( HELLO BUFFALO ). Some shows got out of hand because very little Security. 1 concert we had to wait 2 hours cause some band wanted to play in the dark. I've never been sure why, but I've always gotten such a nostalgic and comforting feeling from this video despite not being much older than it. I find myself going back to this video often and crying while watching it. Catherine Fernandez Concerts are fun, I was around for those ones at Bills Stadium in 70s with 75,000 fans. Rolling Stones liked Buffalo played here 6 times. AeroSmith, Bob Seger, Alice Cooper, Greatfull Dead, Journey, Reo Speedwagon, Doobie Brothers, Country Singer Alan Jackson. It was cool almost every band opened saying ( HELLO BUFFALO ). Those concerts were just like Bills games parting 3 hours before the show in parking lots. John was Friends with my Brother they went to Mckinley High Schoool. John was a good friend he got my brother to quit Alcohol my brother drank Alcohol for 20 years. Yes we were an IRISH Family 10 kids. We all were cute with Freckles on our face. Not always fun being IRISH people think all IRISH are Drunks & REDHEADS get made fun of, & Boys dont like REDHEADS, & most IRISH songs are about Drinking. We do have flaws IRISH Skin burns easily in the Sun. EVERYBODY LOVES AN IRISH GIRL. KISS ME IM IRISH NO REALLY IM IRISH. YOU DONT SCARE ME I WAS RAISED BY AN IRISH MOTHER. IF YOUR A SMALL IRISH PERSON WE CALL YOU A LEPRECHAUN. Good news all 10 of us are still Alive. Sorrry about all IRISH Stuff IM just a PROUD IRISH AMERICAN

This video gives me a whole new appreciation of the band, who really aren't one of my favorites, and their fans. To perform in a downpour like that is a real rarity and standing out in it to listen is perhaps even rarer. When he turns the camera to face the crowd shows he understands just how important the fans are. Really a moving performance thanks for posting it. To this day this band remains one of my favorite bands of all time. The positive messages they send with their music all without cursing or using gimics to sell tickets is the real underlying gem here. This performance was absolutely amazing at the end when everyone was singing just as loud as John on the mic. Sends shivers up my spine :p

I sincerly believe this is the greatest live performance in history. It all just syncs up so perfectly. It feels like for the brief moment of this particular song, on that particular evening, god just came down and conducted the greastest moment of live music ever seen. It's not the amount of people in the audience, nor the meaning of the song itself, nor the band. Just this exact moment in history, regarding the circumstances, was a taste of heaven.
