I'd drop the Dark Magician in favor of another Buster Blader since Buster Blader works without Dark Magician but Dark Magician doesn't work without Buster Blader. Since Buster Blader and Red-Eyes/Dragons seem to the stars of the deck, I'd focus more on that. So perhaps something like this: 2 Vanguard of the Dragon, 2 Red-Eyes Wyvern, 1 Blue Dragon Summoner, 2 Buster Blader, 2 Red-Eyes B. Dragon, 1 Versago the Destroyer, 1 Mystical Sheep #1, 1 Goddess with the Third Eye, 1 Fusion Sage, 3 Polymerization, 1 Emblem of Dragon Destroyer, 1 Red-Eyes Spirit, 1 Magic Drain, 1 Windstorm of Etaqua (2 Meteor B. This looks very similar to my original bb fusion deck. I switched to a more Dragon oriented deck with 2 red eyes wyverns, 1vanguard of dragon, 2 red eyes black dragons, 2 dark magicians, 3 buster bladers, 4 fusion replacement monsters, 3 poly, one fusion gate, one fusion sage, and one random trap that I switch out every now and again when I'm feeling froggy. Windstorm of etaqua right now. I use 2 paladins, 1 dragon destroyer swordsman, 1 black skull, and one meteor b dragon. I use balance add my skill to very good effect.

I just went from silver 1 to kog with a paladin deck. The skill I used was balance, so every character can use this. Makeup 3 mirage dragons 4 fusion substitute monsters 2 red eyes black dragons 2 dark magicians 3 buster bladers 3 polymerizaton 1 fusion sage 1 fusion gate 1 soul resurrection 2 dark paladin 2 buster blader, dragon destroyer swordsman 1 black meteor dragon You will mostly be able to fuse turn one, though sometimes it's better to skip your turn and east some damage. When you get paladin do not attack until you get mirage. Always keep at least one card in your hand. Better to sacrifice sage or trap instead of poly. Use paladin effect to trash dragons or normal monsters. Resurrect monsters with soul resurrection.

Juanathan Fabio At the time I just used the mirage jammers and ate wasn't traps activated before battle phase. This was before dawn of destiny and the current meta was not able to handle the paladin. Working on a new paladin deck. With this setup I can't break platinum 5.

Hey shady nice video! Its great to see you taking the frustration easier, I would say that in this kind of deckcheck you could play 1 or 2 duels and then start changing it up. For starters I dont think this is a deck that justifies having more than 20 cards, and it has too many things going on, you know.. less is more, perhaps focusing on the paladin and the buster and building around that. Doe thats just my opinion, keep it shady!

You won't gain LP off of using Jar of Greed in the Draw Phase. Note how it says "if you normal draw"...What this means is that you will only get the effect for the draw you normally get in the Draw Phase. Jar of Greed (or any other draw card for that matter) doesn't count as a Normal Draw. I know this because there are cards that require being the normal draw to be activated in the actual game, the most notable one I can think of is Rank-Up Magic The Seventh One.

This is a really good deck, and one more thing applicable with it is that you can put one of the all purpose fsuion materials for it and put more extra deck monsters so it gives variety (Ex. I believe the changes done to HHG and 3SD are pretty good. HHG was ALWAYS a -1 on your opponent, while now you can NS summon your harpies and NOT pop anything if you don't want to. As for 3SD, its a great relief to know that they might pull it off once, but they may not be able to in the next turn. We'll have to see how cards like Joan and Dian Keto come into play (don't let her hit you, or burn her ass to the ground). As for Weevil, I think the nerf came in short. With 2 parasites they can still use whistle and chunk 2k out of you LPs.

its not a minus one, its a guaranteed Draw. First - you still draw 4 Second - you still draw 5 so you're just locked into the card which give your opponent a chance to potentially counter or play around. You better get your magic drains ready!

It is minus one because people have cards like champion's vigilance and magic reflector which makes drawing the card pretty useless if what you are facing is blue eyes or toon kingdom decks. Not to mention, people will be running more Weevils as a result.

Dan i love you my boy, but it is a minus one. Since HHG started on the field before it always gave you a plus one on cards compared to your opponent. So you would have 5 cards if you started first or 6 cards if you went second compared to what you said 4 cards after nerf or 5 cards if you go second.

If you want a competitive buster fusion deck, I've had a lot of success with the Poki Draco deck 3x Poki Draco 3x Buster Blader 3x Crystal Seer 2x Dark Magician 1 Goddess with the third eye (or any fusion material) 2x fusion gate 1 polymerization 3x Emblem of Dragon Destroyer 1 Magic Drain 1 Seven tools of the bandit Run this with Yami and Destiny Draw. I've only bricked with this deck twice and I've gotten a ten win streak in gold. I run 2 paladins and 1 dragon destroyer, but 2 of each should be plenty.

Harpie's hunting ground might be the best field right now but you can still destroy it(even if you go out of your way to do so) same with jurassic world/umi which are also common! With only 3 harpies in the game, it doesn't generate such a huge advantage as people say. It causes mind games making you afraid to set, but so do cards like mystical space typhoon. Main reason it's used is because there aren't that many good skills to choose from anyway, not because it's overpowered!

Hey shady just want to say I like how you are doing duel links and you are right about one thing it is addicting. Keep up the good work. BTW I have found a way to farm bakura pretty consistently. I know gunablazing has the labyrinth wall ability. Buy try looking at building a deck using no mortal can resist ability by ishizu. That practically ruins bakuras graveyard. Dark necrofear can't be summoned because there are no fiends in the graveyard and when necrofear goes to graveyard he becomes a skull servant. I have built two decks for it but I'd like to hear your input. Keep up the good work.

HHG: pretty sweet because since Lotus came out HHG became somewhat of a combo deck which postpones that by quite a bit Parasite: totally fair and still totally viable nothing really to talk about here Fairy: mmh not sure, since i feel like Fairys themselves arent really at that "cardsupportlevel" that other archetypes are at atm e.g. Dragon Harpie GK 3SD: seems good.... i think.... i really cant predict how hard its ACTUALLY going to hit 3SD since most 3SD Duels just finish after 5 turns either way. I assume most people will drop healing altogether because you need at least 2 heaing cards to reuse your skill and by dropping those they can put in either tech cards or even more steamroll cards. I guess at that point its more or less preference

yo really respect u shady and hope u keep up the good work man! I might come of as rude etc about my following comments about the deck but it's just to give constructive critisism and my thoughts about it. The deck conscept is awsome with bluster blader and dark magician as it incredible fun cards (cuz i'm a fusion fanboi lol) but the deck showcased is extremly inconsistant and absolutly not competetive or even fun to play imo cuz you'r absolutly gonna lose more then you win. My #1 change would be to throw out all the the cards that do not fit in this deck imo (Branch! - inconsistant/not needed, Trap jammer - Use mirage dragon insteed of the Maiden's and summoner of illusions, those are the cards taht stand out most as bad card choices for this deck. #2 change would be to get in 3x polymorphs wich should be pretty selfexplanatory for consistansy. Actully alot more to change but I don't think anyone wanna read to much but this is a good start point to change the deck imo. Aight im out doitz

Basically what you need to do is make it a Red eyes arche-type deck for Dragon Buster and Dark paladin is the support. Remove the Maidens and add 2 mirage dragons/1 more red eyes wyvrn/ dragon vangaurd what ever combination of the 3 you have need to be your main 4 stars the most preferable of the 3 being the wyvrn obviously so you can summon the red eyes which you should run 2 of. If you don't have enough just sub you best 4 star dragons so you have around 5 or 6. This is my deck and what i have but obviously you have 2 dragon busters and 2 dark paladins so just go with 2/2 for those and 1 black meteor would be optimal obviously i dont know all the cards you have but here is my exact deck 1x Dragon Buster 1x dark paladin 1x Black Meteor Dragon 1x red eyes b. skull dragon Red eyes x2 Buster x1( no point in having more than one when you have a searcher that doubles as a res and a) 3x Vangaurd/Wyvrn (wyvrn is slightly better because your going to want to have red eyes in your graveyard at all times but he combos well with vanguard. vanguard will do fine if you dont have wyvrn hes easier to get and the card trader has him only difference is he can help you get you red eyes back out of the grave 2x Mirage Dragons 2x fusion substitutes of your choice i run helixs these will act as your summonable stalls and allow you to more easily combo you summons instead of bricking with so many level 7 normals 2x Emblem of dragon destroyer helps give you back your blader from the grave yard abd runs with a card to be mention latter 1x cards of red stone you can run 2 if you feel the red eyes is bricking you 1x branch 3x Polymerization the rest you can fill however you see fit but that's the simplest way to run a Dragon destroyer soul Resurrection because red eyes will always be in your graveyard mirror wall is a classic and staple of yugioh and every one has one and is always usefull tribute to the doomed and eliminating the league only use eliminating the league if u have tribute to the doomed as they synergize off each other very well. For example what tends to happened is you will draw 1 before the other and usually not at the same time so if you draw EtL first set it and wait to use tribute to the doomed as it's required spell tribute if you draw tribute to the doomed first wait to draw eleminating the league or if u have an extra poly or emblem use that it helps with hard to deal with monsters like relinquished which will destroy this deck other wise. having so many spell cards that you can throw away makes these 2's effects affordable Soul Resurrection for pulling out the red eyes from the grave which combos with vanguard and eyes of the red stone DRAW POWA/thins out the deck obviously their are other cards you can use that are easier to get and have similar better effects these are just what I run. If anyone reads this and has any suggestions im open to it. obviously its not the best or perfect cause im stuck in gold rank 3 and cant raise any higher. The deck struggles against traps mostly but its eased by the ability to res red eyes and any other fusion material try to save your TtD and EtL cards for your opponents cards that have nasty effects like relinquished because most the time dragon buster/dark paladin/red eyes b have enough attack power to handle most cards

why does no one ever use fusion substitute? you could free up one of your paladins or busters because after you play it you can banish it and put it back if its destroyed.

balance or draw sense is best for fusion decks due to the un ability to special summon and always requiring at least 3 cards to summon anything. it will help u gain the cards first draws then anything after would be bonus ;). not being able to tribute summon using low creatures and no buffs you need to work with meta. dark pally is a rediculous card tho. run two each dark magician and buster blader ;)

Honestly, I think having to draw Harpies Hunting Ground in the deck and not on the top, to balance it out a lot, and the same with someone like Rex's exclusive field spell. But... what do I know....

This deck would probs run better with destiny draw instead of power of dark since you can pull what you need near end of game. Also running 2 red eyes and 2 wyverns with cards of the red stone would be nice since you can discard for +2 then fuse with buster and wyvern so you can have buster blader fusion and red eyes on the field turn one if you are lucky. you could probably also add one more buster blader so you dont end up with a dead emblem of the destroyer in hand.

Shaddy add there 3 Swamp Monster sub you get from Paradox Brother Event.. I think it might work somehow or you put Some Skelengel to help you draw if you hand got dead Card 3 Polymerization better than 2 Emblem

Abilities shouldn't shape metadecks, but aid metadecks. Much like how mako has an ok deck w/o umi on the field, but its just that little bit better with umi. Same for cards using destiny draw, where they are ok, but dd just helps them out by that little bit needed to be more consistent.

Still waiting for pyro buff, even a field spell lol. Infernal pops back row, thing in the crater combos with twin headed dragon for a 2200 free. Bonfire colossus can counter champion v. Because it's a special summon. A combo I have is bonfire colossus with a T.I.T.C to get your dragon out two summons one turn. If there was search cards for pyro it would be top tier budget for sure. Shame there still isn't any. If you guys want to try it feel free to ask me (: I recommend giving it a try it's very very very cheap "mine has zero SR and UR monsters) and does fairly well but could definitely be buffed a lot with good traps and spells
