Marilyn is so beautiful. She definitely is the golden child of monkey hill. And then there is puppy mum. She looks after that baby so well. She is an inspiration. She probably has had a lot of babies to look after over the years. She is a fighter to judging by all the battle scars. I would love for her to have a higher rank so she gets some of the goodies she deserves. It would be nice if you could check on her every once in a while. I adore your videos and God bless you for sharing them with us. I wish you and all our little beauties a very happy new year. ❤️❤️❤️

Wow marilyn sure is a looker!! Her coat and everything is just perfect!! And wow puppy mom is one amazing monkey! She's done really well with that baby even tho she has a lot of her own tissues. It's truly awesome how she takes in orphan babies and raises them as her own,what's even more amazing is how she's old and still producing milk.. I just love all these monkey's on monkey hill! It's a dream of my mine to come and visit there and be able to see all these GORGEOUS monks in person!! Arroz I wait all day on Sunday's, Wednesday's and fridays for you to upload your vids at 9pm( Philadelphia pa usa). I truly have learnt so much from the first day I found your channel and watched every video from day one(and alot multiple times..lol) it makes my heart so happy that there really is someone like you out there and films monkey's as good as you do and how you don't interfere with them and their lives.. all these monks look at you as a member of their troop and respect you and trust you!! How do we know Puppy mum’s baby is indeed A foster?? Is it possible it can be her bio mom? I mean she is producing milk and caring for her as if it were her own. How would she be able to be able to provide milk otherwise? I know in humans an issue with the pituitary gland can cause milk production without pregnancy.

Puppy Mum's baby clings onto her like she's the best thing since sliced bread. :) I wonder if the baby remembers the feeling of loss- and therefore doesn't want to lose Puppy Mum as her Mum. She is an incredible Mum indeed. I can't believe despite all of her disabilities she is able to care, love, and nurture this baby. I wonder if she produces enough milk? I saw the baby pitch a fit at 13:12 and I'm not sure if it's because she was sliding off her Mum's knee or maybe her milk was running low? So many questions! I am so fascinated by Puppy! Thank you for sharing your journey with us, Arroz- it truly warms our hearts to see such love.

A female can produce milk when necessary, usually after having nursed a baby of their own and it is like that in other animals and even humans but certain things like stimulation and the release of the specific hormone or chemical. Its like what a human mother feels shortly after giving birth, sorry the specifics escapes me at the moment but I did see this with meerkats and other species as well

My guess is there is a rather neglectful mother in her troop too, like we have Gyspy here whose' kids are always looked after by several aunts, except they can't lactate.

How can it be that there is always an orphan available? Why do you believe she is too old to have her own? I don't see what's different besides her missing limb. How is it that she always has an orphan to rescue? I know you are passing the information told to you . Perhaps some of your viewers are not as easily convenienced of things , unlike the majority of the Cambodian channel fans.

My thoughts are similar. Seems a bit far fetched that she could come up with enough orphans to keep her lactating. Especially since these monkeys are supposed to have a low mortality. Unless she's a baby thief I'd think that's her baby.

Marilyn is pretty, but a little chunky. She has a full coat which makes her look heavier
