Of all the macaque species, I think the Rhesus are the most beautiful and sweetest with their babies. I can't imagine seeing any of these babies as less than perfect. Maybe it's just that your love for them has rubbed off on me. Whatever it is, I'm grateful to you, Arroz, for sharing them with us every week.

Have you seen or heard of the Crested Black Macaque's?? They are the most friendly monkey species.. They rarely fight, and all the females take care of the babies in the troop. I believe they call them the monkeys with million different expressions. They communicate with these cute facial expressions. Really neat species of Macaque. I believe they are only in the rainforest of Indonesia. I think you would really enjoy watching them. There is a documentary on youtube. Its just called The Crested Black Macaque, i believe.

I cannot give enough credit to you Mr. Arroz. I have been watching the horrors that other "videographers" upload to their channels--mostly at Angkor Wat. I do this because my field of study is primates and their psychology and i have been active in all types of wildlife rescue and conservation for many years. I feel a responsibility to present the commenting public with FACTS regarding these amazing animals and their care. So many are misinformed and some are just plain sadistic. I was SO pleased to watch your beautifully filmed and narrated video--it was a breath of fresh air in contrast to the horrible greediness and insensitivity presented by the others. I wish they were all like you. The other pleasant surprise came from the comments section'-MORE compassionate intelligent viewers with almost NONE of the ignorance and viciousness i run across in those other comments sections. Canid Consulting It’s very unlikely for a Rhesus to abandon their children. And this Mum is nursing the baby. There is an earlier account of one of Bossy’s Troop having had a baby after sterilization. Martha.

Arroz, after the c-section delivery of my 2nd daughter, I had a tubaligation, where the Doctor cut 1/2 inch, tied & burned the ends shut. To my AMAZEMENT, 4 years later I fell PREGNANT with my 3rd daughter!!! I don't know the statistics, but it definitely IS POSSIBLE to happen as she is graduating high school this year!!! The good Lord works in mysterious ways!!!👍👍😃😃😃😃

God is looking down laughing at the mere mortals who dare to play God. Sophia's baby boy looks quite well cooked. Good size for a baby only one or two days old. It is nice to see in monkey society that little girl's still are curious about babies, even those that they can't get close to because of their ranking. That is why it is so cruel to sterilize them before they have had a chance to experience being a mother. On a totally separate note, I love hearing them do what I call "the monkey wave" in the background. All that oooing and ahhing. Congratulations to Lancy's daughter also.
