@@Litijan if you plan travelling 100-200 km then yeah but in boot for ideal long journeys rather than refilling minor tank every so often,

@@overlucked737, depends on spare tyre's space: up to 65 liters can be stored under the boot; and if you consume 8L of LPG per 100km, then you more than 700 km of autonomy. And with an LPG station at least every 30 km I see no problems - having round 400 kms of autonomy is more than enough anywhere in Europe (even in neigbouhring Austria)! 😀

I have a Mercedes SLK R170 with LPG. and I love it. cheap fuel. hard aceleration.

Vehicle manufacturers such as Vauxhall used to install LPG systems into a certain number of their models as standard up until a few years ago. They don't do it so much these days in order to reduce production costs. It's a shame because LPG is a cleaner fuel and helps towards reducing the rate of petrol consumption. Any reduction in petrol consumption is still beneficial for the environment compared to no reduction at all.

Pretty sure you can convert any gasoline/petrol car into a natural gas vehicle. With the newer tech in the computers of skyactive, The injection will self adjust it's timing for optimal performance in fuel usage. Better efficiency = more power and less emissions.

avoid the Mercedes that model rusts like a bastard. I had one I Cyprus and even in that climate it was awful. Also interior is poor quality. However it does waft along the motorway like a dream and that 3 pointed star gunsight is cool. I had the 200k 2 litre Kompressor and it was pretty fast for a big heavy car but not very sophisticated

what are you talking about? this car is built like a tank. when you close the door it's like bank vault closing. and no weird noises in interior. you could talk in normal voice at 220 km/h
