I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the Vikings defensive front. I thought the front three might just be a big problem. Sometimes it seems the don’t have many flashy plays but they must be really doing the jobs to the best of their abilities.

The Vikings refusal to upgrade the interior offensive line is one of the greatest mysteries. They've been putting out on tape that they can be easily thrown around for years.

I don’t think it’s “refusal” the Vikings have just sucked drafting O-line. Speilman missed on multiple O-line picks. He reached for Bradbury at 18 overall because of his Pat Elflein debacle in ‘17. It took him 6 years and many failed attempts to hit on O’Neill and Darrisaw fell to them his last year. Kwesi screwed the pooch drafting Ingram in the 2nd round when just about everyone had him at a 3rd to 5th round grade. Point is, it’s not for lack of trying, but the Vikings have a long history of sucking at drafting O-lineman.

They haven’t had the cap space to bring in a big time guard or center in free agency. They finally will have the room this offseason

@@fantasygurulegend how many “big name” guards or centers are even available in free agency, like ever? Even if there is one, the team can match any offer. Poison Pill clauses are banned in the NFL, so your not having a Steve Hutchison situation again.

I think the Vikes need to play the matchups with the RG position. Teams with a poor run defense, they need to start Ingram. And Risner against a poor pass defense. I think we would squeeze out more wins during the last half if we run it this way.
