Matt, fans do care about the roster. I care. You guys did a great job of analyzing the rosters over the past 4 years. It explains why we were bad the past 2 years under Mario. Players not Miami caliber and a bad culture. It's important that fans have a reality check. We have a great roster now. Yes, there are areas that need improvement, but we are in a far better place than we were last year and the year before. The thing is, we have the jimmies and Joes to compete for an ACC title. We are moving in the right direction with the roster. Now, it's time for the wins to match the talent.

Good Morning Go Canes 🙌 Guys yes it s been Frustrating for 20 plus years we want Miami to win im focused On The 2024 Team and beyond i think that this team can win i like our Roster Mario and coaching staff doing a great job building this Roster and depth that s been the huge problem at The U depth and development i think we finally getting there i could not say that past preseasons even though i liked the teams we did not have depth at all

Matt, We have 4 veteran DEs not even counting Mesidor. The young guys will come along when ready. Your points on not knowing how the young players will play are noted. However, this is an issue for every team. A short time ago, every team had to rely unproven players taking the next step to become starters. We don't need that. We have enough veterans. If the young players show they're ready, then fine, but we're not relying on them.

The excuses for Mario is over. This is yr 3. This is his team, period. The results will fall squarely on him. I am unfortunately skeptical he can win at least 10 this yr. I just haven’t seen anything on Saturdays in 2 seasons to lead me to believe he can get it done. Prove me wrong Mario.

Are you the same guy mentioning not accepting a record below .500? I get that 7-5 is not "below .500," but not by much. This is the same season we got rolled by Alabama to open the season right? Do I need to watch the condensed verson of that game too? How about the Michigan State game when they ran for like 17 million yards against us - do I watch that game too? Now that I've replied to your attempted distraction reply, I'll come back to my point, recruiting. You realize that the guys that played in 2021 are largely not here anymore, right? You also realize that there are only 7 guys on the roster currently who are guys left from Manny's classes right? That's 7/85 or 8.25%. Those are the players that should be our juniors and seniors. Jalen Rivers, X and Jacolby George are the only ones that will get starter minutes. go Don't want to believe what I wrote? Fine, go look up the recruits from 2019-2022 (yes, 2022 was kind of a Mario class, but not really) and let me know how many became good NFL players. Too high of a bar? Ok, how many became good playes in college? Still too high? Look up who transferred out and where they transferred to, then tell me if those programs were upgrades or not. Spoiler alert: It's not even close.
