I, too, found the garbage can in the ground thing, interesting. Tripping on it sounds like something I'd do. Glad you didn't get scraped up. Hope your back isn't still worse. I've actually never heard of putting chocolate chips in banana bread, but that sounds yummy! And I'm not a fan of most nuts, anyway, so I'm sure I'd like the chips best, too. My mom gave me a Betty Crocker Cook Book, for my wedding back in 1974. I still have it, too. Haven't used it much recently but I did a lot for awhile. It too, shows its age, but still useable, for sure. Your mini pizzas looked good, too. Hope your mom's feeling better by now!

❤ Hi. The bread looks great. I had to giggle about stirring with a meat fork. Ha ha. They say to not over stir quick breads and that fork helped that. I'll try that next time, if I remember. My memory sucks. I'm so glad you didn't get hurt, falling down on those rocks. Be careful. I'd need blinking neon lights to stop me from tripping on that lid if I had that here. I hope you're doing ok. Your book is vintage Hold onto that.
