I just scanned my full viewing history from the past few days, and the video I saw IS indeed gone, so it must have been yoinked by the BBC. It MIGHT pop up again shared by a brave soul willing to try to buck the system, so it might not hurt to keep searching for it. At the very least, there are some great clips of the episode that I think come directly from the BBC channel (or one of the many versions they have up?) so there's that for my fellow citizens of the USA to enjoy for free. Again, I apologize for causing such a stir like this, I hope I can be forgiven!

Michael's The Assembly was incredible. Had me in tears several times. He is so on equal footing with everyone, gave straight honest answers. Amazing guy. Also look out for the streaming of a play called 'Good' on BBC and BBC iplayer, on April 21st. David starred in this in the West End in 2021, to great acclaim. I was booked to see it in 2020 but Covid happened ... And as ever, thanks for the updates Sendarya - helps keep hope alive!

I watched the Assembly a day or two ago. I think I found it on KZbin. I was smitten with Michael before seeing it, and now I absolutely love him. He was gracious, patient with the shy ones and sensitive to the needs of each individual who asked questions. He even wiped away a tear after 4 of them sang a Beatles song for him. His humility in spite of his fame makes him phenomenal. Made me tear up a couple of times. Thanks so much for the update. I’m surprised by the exit of Douglas McKennon and why he would remove OG from his CV. He seemed to have such a positive investment in the series. Anyway, I do depend on you for my updated information. I can’t use tumblr myself because someone seems to has been using my email address who happens to be a Spanish speaker which I am not! I didn’t know that was possible. So you’re it for me! 😀. Thank you for taking so much time on social media to keep us informed.

There is a connection to the watch alongs during the lock-down: descendants of the "Fire of Pompeii" family (the actesses of mother and daughter) have a chat about their members always ending up as doctors or watchmen/police respectively. The mother feels like someone might be watching out for them - they end the call and shortly after a silent member "has left the call" too - hinting at maybe the 10th Doctor having a tab on his "saved family" through the centuries... I guess Muriel in "her bookshop" should also appear in season 3 - but will she interact with Crowley again? Help him maybe???

Thank you so much! Your videos are always a delight, but I'm particularly thankful for this one, because the notification helped me snap out of a growing meltdown after 3 of my cats, Su Majestad Imperial Nerón Claudio César Augusto 23rd (Nero for short), Tarot and her son Yu-Gi-Oh went missing today (edit: the kitties are all fine! I made this comment after they were home safe and sound, no worries). Needed something to kick me back into focus, so it really felt like a godsend at that moment. In other, less depressing, more relevant topics, I didn't know about McKinnon, huh. That's really, reaaaaally strange. All I can say for sure are 2 things: 1. that given that almost everyone else in the cast remains the same, the finished product might feel different, but the quality (in other words: wonderful) will be consistent overall, and 2. If it was only that he suddenly left and there was next to no coverage, it would be one thing, but his curt reply to a fan and him erasing his own involvement with not only GO (a show that, being as renowned as it is, would objectively look good as part of one's job experience, even if one were to personally dislike/not enjoy the show), but with AB, too, hmmmmm.... There's, of course, nothing confirmed, except for the fact that something fishy went down. If I were to speculate using only the information presented here, at this point in time, I would gather that it seems most likely his leave happened/ended in bad terms, and very possibly it involved Mr. Gaiman. (But to note to anyone who might be reading this, *I'm just a random person on the internet, and by no means I'm declaring that the possibility I present is the Gospel Truth™ or What Really Happened ™ or anything like that* . But more importantly, I hope people don't go after McKinnon if he really had a fallout with Gaiman, bc I know Neil's fans can get really....intense, while defending the man. Let's not forget that not only public figures, they're coworkers, they're people, and it's normal to sometimes not get along/disagree with other people and having fallouts. And that's in the chance that they had a fallout at all! Something completely different could have gone down, too, many different things, actually). Anyway, even if we're not gonna see S3 for a while now, I'm longtime GO, Gaiman & Pratchett fan, years before even Radio Omens was a thing, I was already waiting for the second GO book, the legendary "668: Neighbor of The Beast", consuming every little crumb Neil randomly left from time to time, and I'm finally gonna get to see it in some way, shape or form. I waited for 10+ years total, with my hopes getting completely destroyed for a while after STP passed, didn't want to get my hopes up when the TV show came out in case it wasn't renewed, and I will finally be at peace when I get to see a certain couple of man-shaped beings getting into shenanigans while trying to stop the second coming of Christ so afterwards they can hold hands all the way to a cozy cottage somewhere with a devilishly pun-ny name (which yours truly likes to think was chosen by certain gavotte dancing angel that thought would be a funny little ironic twist) and everything can end where it begun: a garden. S3 being confirmed and in production is more than enough for me to rest assured, another handful of years to get to see the husbands go from semi-canon to canon A-ok! Still gonna be all silly and hyperbolic with everyone else about the wait being an eternity and a half, tho, bc we all deserve to vent after that objectively soul-crushing, evil cliffhanger.

First, I'm so sorry about your kitties! I how they return safely and soon! Sending all my cat love your way ❤️ Second, I agree about Mackinnon. So far, the fandom seems to be behaving and not harassing the man, and I hope it stays that way. It's not our dirty laundry to air. Add you say, the production is still a big go with all the rest of the cast and crew, and that's amazing! Wow, you're really the GOAT GOs fan. I bow in your presence ✨️

@@Sendarya OMG no my cats are alright I made my comment _after_ they were safe and sound at home! The place I live is extremely dangerous in general even for people, that's why I was extremely worried, stuff like animal abuse and k1ll1ng are commonplace around these parts: Case in point, just yesterday when I returned from uni, I found one of the strays that I take care of and who was 100% safe and sound when I left in the morning stabbed to death just a street away from mine. There's no human protection service or authority of any kind, much less an animal protection service, so all I could do was cry and give him a proper burial. Nero is hated by almost everyone who sees him even though he's the mellowest cat I've ever met, just bc he's a black cat, even the way I adopted him went "cat develops serious infection due to burns by firecrackers thrown by kids, decent neighbor brings him over so I could try to nurse the poor thing" So you see, while of course, everywhere in the world, a lost pet is an understandable cause of worry, I think anyone can see why a pet getting lost in a place like _this_ in particular would be especially worrisome. I would've replied sooner, but for some reason half of my reply notifs get eaten in the YT app, I'm editing my original comment to clarify re: my cats' safety😅 Once more to less depressing and more relevant topics: I've been a GO fan for 15 years now, and let me tell ya, it's been one of the most unique, beautiful fandom experiences I've ever had! I know usually in fandoms, the Old Guard™ bonks heads with the newer fans for different reasons (different interpretations and/or misinterpretations of the media being those reasons for the most part), but personally, it makes me undescribable happy. The moment in which one of us finds one of these pieces of media that make us happy for some reason or another is irrelevant, we were all "newcomers" at some point, said media can be contemporary to us or could have existed for years, just last month I fell in love with these absolutely charming Italian book series by the name Fairy Oak, even though the series has existed for 18 years now, it's never "late" to get into a fandom, and fans who've been longer aren't inherently more "important" (that doesn't mean that their experience and viewpoints aren't valid though, it is true that the longer a fan has been part of a fandom, the more they know about it, but that should translate to "more fandom experiences to share with others", not gatekeeping) And that's why it makes me so happy to witness what happened with GO! The adaptation is amazing, which is a great bonus, but the fandom...! It wasn't a bad place before, not at all, it has always been one of the nicest fandoms I've ever been into, but the way it started thriving and kept doing so with the adaptation was breathtaking in the best way possible. Seeing a relatively small, niche fandom for a stand alone book not only grow, but to the point of becoming a _titan_ of a fandom, it's so delightful and unexpected! English isn't my first language so my apologies if this comparison sounds wonky, but my experience as a GO fan for years before the show existed was a lot like throwing one bottle to the sea containing a message that says "I hope you have a wonderful day wherever you are, whoever you are ✨" each day and not actually expect anything in return, doing it just bc you wanted to, and you sometimes do get friendly replies, but you of course you have reason to believe that most of the bottles you throw simply don't reach anyone, as you do, but then one day many, many years later you find the beach suddenly filled with countless bottles bearing equally warm, friendly messages from all over the world, in all kinds of languages, replying to all those bottles you thought would be forever left adrift at sea, plus a bunch that aren't replies, but other people also reaching out to others the same way you did. It's simply beautiful, there's no other way to describe it. Having been both a fan of Neil Gaiman as an author and a fan of GO for so long, I can't help but be scared bearing witness of the parasocial relationship the fandom has with Gaiman. Parasocial relationships have always been a terrible issue that hurts both sides, even in eras long gone, it is always important to remember both for the safety of public figures and the fans who support them that we are all people above all. I will admit that there are 2 (and only 2) negative things about being in the GO fandom as long as I have: 1. Although disagreements are of course inevitable in any social space, the level of adoration Neil Gaiman has garnered leaves next to no room for criticism, even though no work is exempt from criticism. There are works of Mr. Gaiman, older works I'm particular, that even he himself admits he feels that could have been written better, and not only because the changes positive progress in society's morals and sensitivities, but from a writing perspective. But any attempt of civil discussion about these topics and analysis, even with works the author himself is unsatisfied with, is received with both blind rage (towards the one opening the topic) and adoration (towards Mr. Gaiman) from fellow fans. And 2. I've only ever mentioned anything related to this a handful of times throughtout the years due to similar reasons for point one, but honestly, while at first, setting my inner critic's desire for analyzing and deconstructing literature in general as a Doylist even back then, I idolized Gaiman as a person, as this "fan friendly author who's One of Us™" just as much as most of his fans, the passage of time and seeing his trajectory and treatment of his fans, people, his works and pre-prime series GO in particular has rendered me unable to trust Neil Gaiman as a person, even if I love his unique writing style, sense of humor, and his contributions to literature in general and to LGBTQ+ representation (and we are talking about non-binary and genderfluid besides different forms of queer relationships, so it is very important, saying this as a nonbinary aroace myself) representation with GO. I won't get into too much detail as to why, bc those are my personal experiences that left a permanent bad taste in my mouth, but I will say, deservingly infamous as she is, people often forget the _context_ of what happened with J.K Rowling and how due the way she presented herself in public (her statements, her actions, and her fan interactions) she used to have a unmovable hordes of defenders (she still has, but definitely not as much comparatively speaking). "How could she be transphobic/homophobic when she has said that she supports LGBTQ+ multiple times, had defended the LGBTQ+ community, and she even has LGBTQ+ characters! She has donated to so many great causes, and even started some herself! She couldn't possibly be any of those things, you're disparaging her!" and similar, is what defenders would say. But in the end, even if it takes time, people will rightfully make their own opinions, and will go back and realize "huh, people can say and do whatever they want to garner and keep a good reputation, even if there's evidence of them being against the very same stuff they supposedly support, they will still attempt to gaslight everyone into believing otherwise", with these things ending up leading to her fall of grace in society's, and more importantly, her own fandom's eyes. I wouldn't be surprised if eventually, years from now, something similar (while not quite the same) happened with Mr. Gaiman, is all I'm saying. I 100% ADORE the benefits we've been reaping tho, from what it means to representation, to shippers, to Good Omens as a whole, to literature, to adaptations and to entertainment, the GO fandom as a whole has won in every capacity, even if I have my reasons to forever doubt the sincerity behind his intentions to do so and some of the stuff he says even now is blaring my "red flag" alarms, I was _ecstatic_ to see the author change his tune from hating on MLM relationships, fans having headcanons/fanon interpretations and Ineffable Husbands in particular for years on end to fully supporting Ineffable Husbands publicly when S1 came out, a ship that was the OTP of basically everyone in the fansom, including myself, nobody would have ever thought would actually become canon due to various reasons, imagine how it felt seeing S2! I've won forever, we've *all* won forever, no matter what happens now, in the mind of the public, even people outside of the fandom, Ineffable Husbands is an universal truth, an all encompassing concept that will forevermore be present in every single iteration, remake, spin-off, anything GO related in the future, even after we are all old, even after Mr. Gaiman is gone, the ship will not only remain as part of GO, it will be the symbol of GO. It already is! It makes me so giddy to witness one of the small, yet very important ripples in the history of pop culture of something I love! It's an unique, amazing feeling, like managing to watch an eclipse and a comet fly the atmosphere at the same time. Edit: grammar. English, not my first language. Also the reason why I'm not sure how to word all these ....word vomit into a more cohesive summary. My apologies 💔

I’d like to see The Them in S3 as well as the others you mentioned ….but if they are in their early 20’s I think that means Azriphale & Crowley will have been apart for … what…..6-7 years? That thought makes me so sad…..

It's hard to say how much time might pass between s2 and 3, but that's a good point, early 20's might be too long. If it goes in real time, I do think we might have a total of about 8 years between the end of s1 and the beginning of s3, but I'm unclear how old The Them are. between 12 and 15, I'd say. That might make them 20 or so? Then again, maybe season 3 will pick up right where s2 left off. Who knows!

I definitely want to see Anathema and Newt come back for season 3. Plus Nina and Maggie. I think the new director might be someone Neil has worked before. He seems to like working with the same people, if he can help it. Although, I thought he might not be done with tv for a while if Sandman keeps doing well. He’s promised to bring Sandman to life for as long as he’s able to on Netflix. And it has an extensive story so that could take a while if the audience remains interested.

I think that's a really good guess, he does seem to like working with the same folks! I suppose that helps avoid misunderstandings. I know he did the pilot for Sandman season 1, and he's executive producer, but the way he's talking lately, I suspect he'll be taking less and less of an active role going forward, perhaps simply remaining a producer. But hopefully he does continue to give feedback, at least!

I’m wondering if, having hindsight about the accusations, McKinnon’s exit had something to do with it? Could he have heard or seen something prior to the allegations becoming public? It seems odd that he’d completely cut ties with a show that was so well-received, especially with a 3rd season already in the works. It’s one thing to move on to other projects, quite another to totally abandon one already underway and dissociate from it entirely. Just a thought though 🤔

If Warlock is Jesus, humanity is seriously screwed 😳 😂 but seriously, I do hope to see an older Warlock in season 3!

I did not know that about Douglas McKinnon, it's such a shame and why would you take an award winning and well loved show off your CV? I wonder what happened? I doubt David T will win the Olivier. The competition is way too strong. Andrew Scott has been winning a lot for Vanya.. Pundits are saying it will be Joseph Fiennes. I do wonder which award Michael will present though. I suspect he's just been chosen because he's leading a successful play at the moment.

For sure, I agree as to why Michael was chosen, as all the presenters are also in recent theater productions. It's too bad about David, but I suspect you are right. Still, it's an honor to be nominated!

@@Sendarya oh yes it's great he got that nomination. I actually feel bad for Johnny Flynn as his was one of my favourite performances last year. Also James Norton was so brave with his performance. I'd probably be equally torn between Andrew Scott, Mark Gattis and James N if I was voting.. would probs opt for Andrew as that was astonishing.

There is no reason to consider David's performance any weaker than the others. David recently won Best Shakespeare performance. He got better reviews than Joseph Fiennes as Macbeth. Plus, he is "due" if you consider that a thing.

@@Laura-rp9rt No none of them are weak. They wouldn't be nominated if they were. They're all deserving. I just think that Andrew Scott's achievement is on another level.
