The 767 is such a fantastic airplane. It’s a workhorse, it’s absolutely bulletproof reliable, and it’s a hell of a money maker for passenger and cargo airlines alike.

They still do. Have you seen the 787 and the 777/777X? The 787 is the most popular Widebody on the market right now and by far one of the most innovative. Just because they make one lemon of a plane doesn’t negate everything else they’ve done and are currently doing

Flown on Delta 767s a total of 6 times in economy, and enjoyed every single flight. One of those was a 10 hour flight from Seattle to Osaka, Japan. During the flight, we had two full meals, and the drink carts came through a total of 6 times. The seats were comfortable, the service was outstanding, and Delta became my go-to airline. I will, for sure, miss the 767s when they are gone...

I used to live in New York and I frequently flew out of JFK Terminal 4 on Delta. It is one of the nicer terminals at JFK. As far as the AirTrain is concerned, it is a great addition, allowing convenient transfers from the NYC Subway and Long Island Railroad at Jamaica Station. LaGuardia is nearly impossible to reach via public transit, so this makes JFK more convenient. I do think that the $8.50 fare is outrageous, however. The Newark Liberty Airport Airtrain, which is also expensive, is only $5.50.

I flew return on Delta's 767-400 from LHR-EZE earlier this year. I certainly enjoyed Delta on all 4 flights. They served descent food and plenty of drinks.. plus snacks. Yes I'd fly them again

yes, I was only 6 about then. I am 15 now, turning 16 later in the year. The leg back though was a 737, as I can only just vaguely remember the single aisle and I think it was an overnighter.@@aydoyt

Great flight review, Dj! As long as the cabins are updated, the 767 is still a great plane. One of Boeing's best, in fact. I especially like the 2-3-2 seating configuration in Economy Class. Disappointing to hear that DL doesn't offer meal service on a coast to coast flight. I've heard it said that one is more likely to be accepted into Harvard University than to be hired as a Delta flight attendant. It's a great gig if you can get it!

I flew Delta Air Lines back in 2009 & 2012 it was a pleasant experience and that was the last time I flew them. Yes, I did hear they got a lot better on being on time verses JetBlue, United, and American. I would advise you if you do plan to fly to Orlando Florida please plan ahead my experience with JetBlue was very disappointed round trip due to a two hour delay. Back to JFK I've flew there a few times and and yes Terminal 4 is a beautiful airport and I flew there with Avianca back in May 2022. Yes, they're under reconstruction and is scheduled to be completed by 2031-2032.

@PaulVerhoeven24 ай бұрын
767 is the only plane left where flying in the economy is actually tolerable (if seats are not spaced too close and there is a space for knees behind the seat in front of you). 7 seats abreast with 2 isles, so only 3.5 seats per isle make for quick and easy boarding and unboarding and plenty of overhead carry on space, and noone has to disturb two other people with nowhere to go to get up or take their window seat. This fact that the cattle class is decent also made airline executives furious, that is why the perfect plane is not made in passenger versions for 20 years anymore.

The 767-300ER is perhaps one of the best planes Boeing has ever built, significantly better and more reliable that the trouble-plagued 787 NightmareLiner.. A new 767neo would have been a better alternative to the NightmareLiner, just as a new 757neo would have been better than all the new 737 Max variants

I flew with Delta from JFK to SFO in one of their 767s 2 years ago. I absolutely hated it so much that I paid $1000 to switch to one of their code share partners to avoid Delta. The planes interior was old, dirty and crowded. Seats were far too narrow and they didn’t recline much.
