Very helpful video. I tend to stick to 5,6,6, on the EQ on my amps and MFX pedals but will definitely experiment with these suggestions. See if o can get a sweeter tone. Thanks again.

How has this channel only got 15K subscribers whilst other timewasting, money-grubbing chancers have hundreds of thousands? State of the world I guess but is sad. Great content brother.

Great Clip, thanks for it. I play SKA Music and try to find the best sound setting. I use a VOX AMP AC 30 X. I guess it takes some time for me to find the right tone;-)

Hi, what about the guitar pickups? what is best for rhythm and what is best when playing a guitar solo? Thanks

Much love. What’s the go to amp in a professional recording studio for reggae rhythm?
@Jremi953 жыл бұрын
Your crown jewels will be the fender twin reverb or the roland jc 120. But any bright and clean sounding amp will work.
@playreggaeguide9 ай бұрын
The Fender Twin or the Deluxe Reverb which is lighter are also good go to.

Flatwound strings preferably really old and never changed. Fender Jazz or P Bass. Tone rolled off. electro harmonix octave multiplexer pedal for the sub lows and a SansAmp bass driver will do the trick

Depends on the amp and the guitar. My amp (mesa boogie) on 4 gain wouldn’t be as clean, especially with humbuckers

What kind of settings do you use on a Hot Rod?
@playreggaeguide9 ай бұрын
From memory generally, Bass = 0 (Hot Rods have too much bass), Drive = 5, Mids = 6, Trebble = 6, Presence = 6. Peace and love
@TAkridge9 ай бұрын
@playreggaeguide I got rid of the Hot Rod and went with a Fender Pro Reveb. There is much better clarity in it.

Hey Rohan I have a question about the reggae music scene, Do you think that someone who doesn't believe or align themselves with the rastafari really belong in the reggae scene?
