About aria - I completely understand her. Unfortunately i had something similar. My guess is that scotty has been gaslighting her the past years and made her believe everything is her fault and she is the toxic one. And then also him guilt tripping her at the proposal. Its so hard to get out of that situation :(

The relationship between Scotty and Aria really seems like a trauma bond. Obviously he's not holding her hostage but the way he is constantly criticizing, gaslighting and yelling at her has completely ruined her self esteem. Seeing Scotty interact with any of the women is so insanely triggering to me. I've experienced a lot of abuse in my life and since I was constantly treated like I was worthless, it had completely shifted my sense of reality. I was fully convinced that I was such a difficult child (or later horrible partner, in my relationships) that I've made my abusers treat my like this. I was always walking on eggshells in order to not upset then but even the smallest thing could've sent them into a spiral. I understand why Aria was so apologetic and convinced that she was so flawed that she was the reason that their relationship didn't work. It is unfortunately a completely normal reaction when you are the victim of any form of abuse. It takes years of therapy to undo the shifted image that was put into the abuse victims head. And I think that Scotty is definitely emotionally and verbally abusing her. That was not just "a bad edit" or something. It really makes me sick how Netflix handles abusive. So far, there has been at least one person who abused their partner and the producers wouldn't do anything. They didn't even react when a person was physically assaulted or when someone admitted to have been being arrested for DV, at the reunion. They just don't care about people's safety. Sorry for the long post. 😅 I love your videos and your chemistry together! 💚

Me and my gf also kept going “Aria pls say no😭” during the entire proposal. I think on these shows, it’s easy to get caught up in the romance and nice words, that people forget the actual problems in a relationship, or severely downplay them. I hope by the reunion Scotty either gets some real help, or Aria comes to her senses 👀

I don't like this complete pile on to Nick especially when Sandy is always gaslighting/criticizing him...Sandy is all about Sandy and doesn't love anybody she just wants to be in charge ...Nick doesn't yet know what went on in Sandy's trial marriage w JR... And he only finds out the extent of their Romance and attachments after watching the program at the same time as we did...Zaina & Nick got together to compare notes and they both think that Sandy and JR flucked ...
