@nigamus prime again. Maybe it’s not about what the actual song MEANS. Maybe it’s just the title, ooor the fact that their friends are leaving. Who cares about the meaning of the song? It may not be the reason for the song for why they were getting choked up. I got a little choked up because it sounded nice in band form. I couldn’t care less about what the meaning is.

we wanted to play this for our senior night this past season but it got cut for time. My directors weren't too mad tho. Me and this one girl knew how to play it but they decided that only the seniors would play until 20. yeah, they ended up moving a bass clarinet to the trombone part. Sorry Cass and Abby but without the rest of the section (the ones who could play it) it was a mess and you know it
