I think your Mom is responsible for running the grain cart because it’s the most important job during harvest.

Gosh, High Tech Farmer, everything is just so high tech!😊 Even the grain cart. I was noticing as you worked around the header that there looks like a lot of ways to bump your head. I bet that never happens to you, though. 😅 I'm ready for some harvest video. Seems like only yesterday it was time for planting.

1000% agree Linda, everything has so many electronics. That's why I usually wear a hat to protect my head from not if, but when I bump into something. Harvest is inching closer by the day

have you seen any farm doing their harvest in your local area? I saw list two doing their harvest in my area.

Several people have tried small fields, but nothing more than that

how many bushel does your grain cart hold? have you ever thought getting a bigger Grain cart like a J&M?
@HiTech_FarmerАй бұрын
It holds roughly 1100 bushels. We haven't given much thought into a larger one, simply because of compaction in the fall when it gets wet

Good for you that you put the safety lock on the cylinder...You should never be underneath a header without having it supported or locked so that it can NOT fall down on top of you. There was a farmer here that they could not find for several hours until they found him flat like a pancake underneath the header after 3 hours of looking for him.....

Oh my that's terrible. Yes I'd rather not risk my life under a 20,000 pound header to save 3 minutes of time

all camera sensors should be sending via local area network.

Grease is what solved the problem on ours…same cart

Thanks for sharing, will try more grease again. Thought maybe the gears were worn, but they looked fine
