Series finale it was the final season. Three episodes originally aired in syndication after the actual finale But if you go by only the air date, this was the finale. Meaning this was the last new episode to air. Excluding the ABC live remake version. It was recorded in February 22nd of 1979 nearly a year before airing. Production wise, this was the next to last episode recorded. The finale was recorded on March 1st of 1979.
