I love this song. I have two of the best sons a dad could ever ask for who have given me two grandsons. My wife is my rock. My parents were as all american as they come, they raised me right, I miss them. I got to travel the globe as a US Marine. I travel 48 states as a long haul truck driver. I'm very thankful and I'm good to go.

thank you for your service!!! I have to say this is my favorite also, I heard this years ago when this CD came out before the song ever hit the radio, this song hit home for me! My dad (a truck driver also and US Army) had just passed away and and a swear as crazy as this sounds I found my peace (with his death) listing to this song, this song will always be close to my heart!

This is going out on Vets day I lost my dad (best friend & hero) to cancer little over a year ago and this song describes my life right now. I have my dream job that my dad always wanted me to have. I also held his hand as he slept from this world. He served for 22 yrs in the army and I couldn't be prouder to say that he was my Dad. Jason, you hit the head on the nail with this one. Thanks

I was about 16 when i first heard this song and i loved it it made me appreciate what i had but i still just wanted to be older. Now im 21 serving my country being the best man i can for my small family looking back thinking i would like to be that 16 year old country boy up to know good with no responsibility.Even with the mistakes i wouldnt change notheing about this roll with the punches life iv had. One of my favorite songs by Jason Aldean. I had listened to it before and liked it, when one day the opportunity came to take the song truly in. On the day we buried my aunt, mother of five daughters, and a good and caring woman whose love goes on after she left, i listened to this song while driving in the funeral procession. Never before have I felt the power of a song like I did this one on that day driving in that funeral procession.

I Love Jason and have all but one of his CD's. Not one of them is bad. It's the kind you put in and let them play through and through. This song is definitely one of my favorites. Lost Dad and it was bad. But I didn't give up. I was almost a goner nearly 2 years ago. It was then I realized I am good to go. I've never done anything God wouldn't forgive me for. I've forgiven all that's been done to me, no matter how bad it was. So until the day I do go, Life Goes On. I will Never Give Up. :)

My first husband died in a car reck and we had a beautiful baby girl together, and at his funeral I played Jason Aldean's Good to Go because it was Dan "my husband" all the way. He had an all american family, held his dad's hand until he took his last breath, I was the love of his life for 15 years, and he held our new born baby girl Kelli Danielle. Thank you Jason Aldean for this beautiful song, it was my husband's life to a T. I miss Dan everyday and I will until we meet again when I am Good too Go!!!

This was the last song I listened to with my dog the weekend she died at a young age of 8. I am a guy, i rarely cry but everytime i think about how i wasn't there when she breathed her last breath, makes me cry even 5 years later. she wasnt a dog, she was the best friend i have had in my entire life and i broke the one promise i made to her because my dad didnt want me there because of how bad i was even thinking about it. I love you reba and I pray to you everynight, i know you hear it. :)

I've been to a countless number of his concerts, most of which were within shouting distance. I have yet to hear him play this live. He's even acknowledged my request. Still, this is the only complaint I have after seeing him live. However, if I can pin Jason Aldean singing Good To Go, and Eric Church singing I Think The World Needs a Drink (it's my understanding that he wrote it, and there are videos of him singing it), I think I could die a happy man so long as Wheeler Walker Jr tags along with his "actresses" in the puss & boots video!

My Friend, Keep the fAITH, there is a reason WHY things happen and 1 day you, me and everyone else will find out that reasoning !!! I feel your loss, back in 2009 starting first couple week sin May we lost Granny, 3 weeks later I lost my mom and 11 days later my Dad followed. I had 1 helluva 3 month's, having to burry my parents and going to tell my Father that his Wife of 40+ years had passed and then watch him get even sicker than he was at that time and then watch him leave to go be with mama and our Lord in Heaven. It gets better in some aspects of life but, we will NEVER forget our parents but, think about this. 1 Day soon we ALL will be able too see them again as long as you BELIEVE and KEEP the FAITH !!! I promised my mom a couple years before her passing that I was right with God and I would see her again 1 day. I keep that promise and YOU will be able to do the same. NEVER forget him, NEVER lose the FAITH and ALWAYS BELIEVE that God has a plan for you and will help you, carry you and deliver you to Heaven as long as you keep believing and stay true to yourself and your parents !!! God Speed my friend !!! It gets harder before it get's easier and believe me, IT ALL will be worth what we are going thru now to reap the rewards later !!!
