My boyfriend showed me this song and said it reminded him of me when we first started dating. I had been through a rough year or so before we started dating and had a lot of walls built up and when he showed me this song and told me how it made him feel I felt those walls crumble. 2 years later and we are still going strong. I watched them live in Columbia, MO in 2017. My dear friend took me because he knew I LOVED this band and was dying to go. We stood there on 9th street with tears in my eyes and him speechless. He looked at me and said “this is you, do they know you?” Of course y’all don’t, lol. I lost him in January 2019, this song resonates so much deeper since then. Life is 100% different from then, and I wish he was here to see it. I miss my big bro

I agree with you on this. The song is about a girl who makes mistakes (stumbles) but keeps running despite her mistakes - running, but not running away from her problems. If she was running away, she wouldn't be here. I think she's facing her grief but not dealing with it. "Looking for something quicker than Heaven" suggests to me that she is considering suicide, but eventually decides not to. I also think the sparklers in the video represent her will to live coming back, fiery and passionate.

This is one of the few songs that really describes me... I can't stop listening to it. This song is amazing and beautiful and I really couldn't picture anybody but the Eli Young Band singing it. I found the most complete living Guinevere so perfectly matching the woman this song showed me I'm meant to find. I never willsay more serious words than that I saw my soulmate clearas day every time this song played. The exact one that if some how blessed enough to meet that one person who will ever see this earth that God designed every detail so that we make each other so much better people by the way our best and worst fit into one another in a way causing every single bit of who we are to be perfect for making lives fill with hope again. I had known as soon as we met i had found my Guinevere I just had to gget you to see me as someone to take a chance on one time. I sent you the song. You said how that had been a favorite of yours a long time now. I discovered that both of us had posted it to our facebook 5 plus years ago in the same month. That's enough proof that should get anyone convinced they have to see if they might really be one of the few that gets their forever beside the actual one true love that 99 percent of people are cursed to live their lives longing for While never getting anywhere close to finding before giving up to settle for a half decent person who you feel a earthly desire for as well as feel like you get a worldly purpose from. My best friend was going to name her daughter this and her and her unborn daughter passed away in a car accident june 8th 2017 just 3 days before Guinevere was due to be born. Everytime I hear this song I cry because I think of them and I see their faces. I love and miss them sooo much. This song is why she picked the name Guinevere. Hearing this morning makes me think of them yes I'm saddened of the thought but the love I have for them is so much more. Love this song so much
