Love you guys. Ren can move but I don't think he can dance. So, he's human. You hit the nail on the head with the old soul. Ren loves music period. Genre doesn't seem to matter. This is a 70s vibe recorded 2023 by band named Jungle. Motown to me. Police is band that did Message in the Bottle. Released in 1979

The second song you recognised was Message in a Bottle by The Police. You should definitely react to it! The Police were a huge band back in the 80s and obviously very influential for Ren. One of my favourite bands of all time with the lead singer called Sting who reminds me of Ren so much as he was also a brilliant lyricist and singer.

So probably the most country-ish song I have heard by Ren at least in my limited experience would have to be _Hold On_ from 2016. You should react to it. I've seen it referred to as 'the working man's anthem'. And somehow I remember it was actually the second song of his that I listened to, after discovering him (as most of us did LOL) with _Hi Ren._

Back on 74 is a contemporary group/artist named Jungle. It is a wild dance track, and the official video is a wild one take that is amazing. He calls them out near the end of the rap where he says "Massive like Jungle". Back on 74 was released in 2023.

The original Song Back On 74 was written by Jungle released in 2023. “Back On 74” captures the universal human experience of looking back, cherishing memories, and longing for a return to a place or time that once felt like home. I love his retakes, he always puts his own twist in there, to make it his. He alwasy gives props to the original creator by adding "Retake" to them.

Ren was bed ridden for many years and learnt a lot about himself and read countless deep books while just making music and isolated and going through his traumas. So he wised up quickly and the loss of Joe would also attribute to wisening young. Ren would often be at music festivals from a young age with his parents. His mum was a vocal coach aswell so old soul and music has always been there and just enhanced with his illness and isolation etc. Enlightenment if you will.

All his bars are sexual in this with double meanings. So yes 'Angelina, want to raid her tomb' is a double entendre, like most of the rap on this. This is more like motown vibes which is 60s, but Jungle's "Back on 74" mixed well with The Police's 'Message in a Bottle' which is from their album from 1979 with Sting singing and is where you have heard it. But Jungle's song just came out 6 months ago.

Ren Title Code: Retake = someone Elses Song he puts his lyrics or rap to. MASH UP = Two or more songs he stitches together whole or in pieces and performs as a single song COVER = someone elses original song and originsl lyrics that he performs and may or may not add a bit of Ren flavor onto. JUST THE TITLE = His own original creation
@jamestalkington63069 ай бұрын
Well, it's too much his own to be a straight cover, it's not ALL new lyrics over an existing beat so it's not a remix either. Also for search optimization, using a different word than everyone else uses for similar category is just smart.
