It’s me again. I’ll make it short this time. The cup thing is new to me. But, with Ren, I’d suggest having more cups for the many varieties of Ren. Like, a cup for collabs, the big push, trick the fox, funny Ren, and “pull at you heartstrings “ ren. If anyone can think of another cup for this suggestion, please feel free to add. Btw, just a suggestion. Otherwise, as a renegade, no matter what you post, I’ll eventually watch it and hit like. Still here and still enjoy your channel.

Yep, that was him. People get lost in the backing singers, partly because the camera focuses on them an inordinate amount of the time. Ren is singing with them, weaving his voice in and out and around theirs, in effortless, beautiful harmonies. Most people only seem to notice this at the end, for some reason but he's doing it from the first time they come in and all the way through. :)

Ren decided how much screen time his co-vocalists got, and I think there's nothing inordinate about it. They're amazing, and he's happy to share the spotlight.

@@gtjacobs I don't deny they're amazing but whatever the reason, we have the backing singers as the focus of the camera work and poor old Kai hardly gets a look in. This has meant that lots of people have missed Ren's vocals, in the chorus, until the end of the Back on 74 section. Ren can do whatever he likes as far as I'm concerned :) but this has been one of the unintended consequences, in reaction after reaction.

When you talk about this song making you think about a cruisey Sunday…you’re exactly right…but even though Ren does so many different types of music, there is one thing that’s constant in every one of them…they all make you feel something…sad…shocked…hopeful…sometimes suddenly aware… I’ve listened to every one of Ren songs since he first posted on KZbin 6 or 7 years ago and that’s what I’ve noticed about all of them… good luck with the channel …you two crack me up..😂

I would love to see you guys work on improving the sound quality of the music video playback. It kind of sounds like the audio is being recorded thru an external mic instead recorded directly form the source (like the video part is). Best of luck on the channel growth, it seems like you are on the right track.
