To that outstanding list I would add Charles Band's Metal Storm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn (1983), featuring Michael Preston (as the titular villain), Tim Thomerson and Richard Moll (and like Space Hunter originally released in 3D), along with Forbidden World, Roger Corman's follow up to Galaxy of Terror (later remade, poorly, as Dead Space), Women of the Prehistoric Planet (1966)--not to be confused with Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Planet, and... well, anything made by Ted V. Mikels or Ray Dennis Steckler (both of whom make ole Fred look like Spieiberg).

Everything about "Star Slammer" ... is ... awesome! One of the neatest things about Ray's use of so much borrowed material/footage is that we can now tie all of the individual movies and shows together ("Battle Beyond the Stars" ties into "Deadly Spawn" ties into "Buck Rogers," etc.), using "Star Slammer" as an "Avengers"-esque anchor film. Now, the possibilities are endless! I see remakes of all these movies, set firmly in the "Star Slammer Universe," featuring run-on cameo appearances by Douglas McKeown (who would have no idea why he's even in the movies), explosive Blender-generated special effects, incredible character development, copious amounts of nudity, a huge "Deadly Spawn" invasion subplot (which then could be tied directly into "Slither" and "Night of the Creeps"), cryptic post-credit sequences, shameless merchandising, TV tie-ins, graphic novels ... and all of it culminating in the final, mind-bending, 37th film installment (est. budget $2.6 million), where all of the disparate heroes unite to defeat the Spawn's super-mother character (before she can snap her fingers and phase-shift the audience into a better movie franchise), entitled "The Star Slammers: Endtime" ... ... ... I'm just sayin' ...

Or hers is white because she's just got there so it's new. They've been there for ages and so have become grey after multiple washes. We already know from the changing of the top after getting blood on it the producers are sticklers for continuity. Anybody can have millions spent on CGI but that kind of attention to detail makes them the best.
