And as usual they only got as far as "guy in a black button-down is immediately demanding". It really makes Secretary, despite its issues, stand out for showing a more realistic, nuanced take. Particularly when it digs deeper into a dominant dealing with self-doubt or shows a stylized rendition of aftercare. But yeah, this actually seems more like a take-down of 50 Shades. It has other kinky people discuss consent and actively calls him out as a predator.
