Another anachronism is the “Go get me a plastic bag” - in 1942. People didn’t have plastic bags until the sixties. Unless the family was full of scientists, they wouldn’t even know what a plastic bag is.

I'm about to rewatch this review again, after having watched it with Joe Bob Briggs on Shudder right now. I was amazed by how laughable this movie was. Murder, Kendall getting laid, murder, Kendall getting laid, MURDER, KENDALL GETTING LAID! You would think at one point, maybe, just maybe, the "Boston" police would have said, "We should close this school until the murderer is caught!" And maybe the women on the campus would have thought, "Maybe I shouldn't be walking around by myself." But no. That would get in the way of Kendall getting laid, not to mention the murder. Also, it seemed as if the lead cop wanted to have sex with Kendall as well, to the point of deputizing Kendall, and defending him, anytime anyone even remotely doubted him. It was a fun movie. Now back to your review.

7:20 I came back here after watching the documentary "Enter the Clones of Bruce" and seeing Wong Kin-lung's (Bruce Le) interview, saying he wasn't aware that he was going to be in a horror film as a cameo. Which in this he show's up at 7:20 it's so random and out of place it's funny af. Maan I immediately remember this review you made after they showed the clip. Thanks for keeping this review up Cecil, I need to rewatch this slasher movie again soon haha.

Sadly, no can do. Even though what I do is covered under fair use if the content owner sends a copyright claim then it is gone on YT. It still lives on my site though. A shame, it was a very good episode and defended the movie for being unique. However their lawyers thought differently.

Yeah, he sticks with exploitation from the 70s-early 80s mostly. He does his vlogs where he ventures to more current stuff. I like to just mix a little bit of everything. I try not to go too current because those are the ones that YT removes. (I found that out the hard way with Human Centipede)

They don't care, it's like yelling at a wall. I'm not even kidding, after it happened I was forced to watch a video and then take a test about copyright laws before they would let me post anything again. It was absurd. It's just frustrating because I'm actually creating something not just posting a movie in segments but to them I'm no different.

I love this movie and finally got the epic 3 disc blu-ray set today. First thing I did was watch the Spanish cut with the o.g. soundtrack a few extra minutes added to the runtime. In some ways I like it better since it's definitely got a more serious feel... but damn it's just as dumb as ever. But not AS dumb as the English dub. Can't see me going back to the Spanish cuz what I know is so much gold. Also the added 42nd Street Memories doc makes it so much more worth it. Plus the soundtrack. Ooh boy that's quality stuff! Also also... she screams "Animal! Animal! ANIMAL!!!" instead of the classic "bastard". I definitely prefer the latter.

It's 1942, why would police care about finger prints, which weren't really even used properly till the 90s night stalker case. Also it's the 40s, it's given that people didn't consider children to be dangerous little shit like we sorta know 'em today. BTW, love you channel.

Really makes one wonder why Lynda wants nothing to do with this film. That line is the stuff of horror movie legends. Reminds me of how Nicole Kidman is with BMX Bandits, they both acted well and are generally praised for their performances in those films. Only thing I can think of is that they don't like the subject matter and in that case it's even more impressive because performing well in a project that one doesn't like can be extremely difficult.

The best I can figure is that many attractive girls are either: a) looking to get some acting creds under their belt b) very pretty but can't act so this is their best bet Now sometimes they get lucky and land in a good movie but still can't act but their looks overshadow their acting ability.
